2009 Harley-Davidson® FLSTN - Softail® Deluxe,

<p>Low mileage for its age, yet has the battle scars showing how much it is loved. Many of miles and years are left in this baby. I’m the second owner. It spent the first five years and 5,700 miles of its life in the mountains outside of Colorado. I rode it to Pittsburgh in 2009. I was 51 years old and as glided through the twisties of Sunshine Canyon, I felt like I was 22 again. Maintenance is up to date, however, it does need new tires. Within the past two years I replaced the chain and sprockets, fork seals, battery, and installed a reusable air filter.Add-ons include Givi Rapid Release Side Case racks, Wolfman saddlebags, an SW Motech Top Case rack, SW Motech engine guards, Moose Racing Windscreen, and an aftermarket LED headlight. Most of my riding was in the city (providing one deigns to call Pittsburgh a city). I took it on annual 2,000 mile road trips, and several trips along fire roads in the state forests. The F-650GS was never intended to be an adventure or a dual sport bike. That said, with the engine guards and the 50/50 tires it performed well off the pavement. I recently purchased a 1250-GS and per the agreement with my wife, I am reluctantly selling this bike. First reasonable cash offer rides away on it.</p>

<p>H-D XR1200 in fast Orange. The XR1200 is the best Sportster most have never heard of. Based on the legendary XR-750 Flat Track Racer from the 70's, it was first introduced as a Europe only model then in 2009 it was released in the United States. </p><p><br></p><p>This bike is very fast with a wide power band, allowing easy cruising with instant passing power without having to downshift. I have owned this bike since 2013 when I bought it from Whitt's Harley Davidson in Manassas VA. As far as I know, I am the second owner unless you count the dealer then I would be third. It has been well cared for, being stored indoors and winterized properly. Keep in mind it is regularly ridden and shows signs of use, this is NOT a garage queen. Serviced regularly. I’ve taken this bike on 600 mile trips, used it as daily driver to work, weekend rides, and it has never left me stranded. </p><p><br></p><p>This bike has never had the dreaded fuel tank swelling that plagues most XR's, the cover fits on the tank with no issues and I have never had to replace the original tank. </p><p><br></p><p>Tuned and dyno’d showing 85.8 hp and 75.2 ft-lbs</p><p><br></p><p>About 5 years ago I had it parked in a gated and covered parking lot and someone stole the battery, only the battery strap was damaged which was replaced along with a new battery and side cover. Nothing else was damaged. Bike was never in an accident under my ownership.
