<p>Today I am listing my much loved 2004 Kawasaki Drifter 1500 for sale. The Motorcycle is in wonderful condition as the pictures clearly show. It has no scratches or dents no fading paint no rusted chrome. It starts easily and every time with the push of a button. it has nearly new tires, a beautiful old style cowhide leather seat with fringe, concho"s and studs and also comes with a two up fringed seat a seperate two up frame. The bike also comes with two seperate original vulcan drifter gas tank emblems with sticky back applicators two extra vulcan gas tank emblems and two custom made drifter 1500 gas tank emblems also comes with two indian style drifter decals all shown in pictures. She has custom yellow fog lights as driving lights and also comes with two clear driving lights in a box. Also has smoke colored turn signal covers and has two amber colored turn signal lenses in the beaded leather bag attached to windshield. She also has beaded wampum style trim on the gas tank and with a concho in the center. Also has frank's leather fringed fender trim both front and rear. This bike runs like a dream and is extremely reliable. It has just 17859 miles on her. Always garaged and under cover (comes with a weather proof cover) Only got caught in the rain once and never taken out in the rain. She rides so smooth you will not believe it.Also comes with a bike lift. Sounds fabulous not too loud and not too quiet. Oh, and did I mention it has much desired Dooley Roadhouse Exhaust! 2017 DRZ400 purchased from a VT dealer last year (2023) with full service. I just got a new road bike and did not ride it enough in the dirt to justify owning it. Sad to see it go but thats how it is. <br /><br />The bike runs excellently and is in good shape. I dropped plenty of time but only in the dirt, its a DRZ so keeps going each time. <br /><br />The previous ownder did plenty of work on it to give it some quality of life upgrades. If this is the bike for you, you already know it. One of the best bikes for a learner/beginner or for anyone who appreciates the "full-throttle" fun of a lightweight 250. This was the final year of manufacture of this legendary workhorse of a bike and the only year with the beautiful black with blue accent design. These bikes maintain world-wide appeal to a niche enthusiast group and are becoming harder to find. I purchased at 2000 miles from a retired couple who realized it wasn't the best choice for two-up riding of two large people. Bike has T-Rex Racing grab bar/rear rack/backrest, a Koso analog tachometer I added, Booster Plug ambient-temp throttle tuning device, side offset rollers to keep saddlebags off the springs, worn but fully usable saddlebags, an Enduristan rally tail bag, spiral-bound printed service manual, assorted spare parts like plugs, gaskets, brake lever, a new Battlax BT46 rear tire with 100 miles on it, original front tire with plenty of tread. There is a pressed-in spot on the right side of the tank that has no paint damage and should be possible to pull out with suction - I have moved on to a larger bike and stopped working on the TU.
