It was built ground up with rear suspension but not a softail suspension. Beautiful custom paint work in great condition overall. The bike runs strong and has a very well build setup. No significant oversteer for a 10ft long chopper. No balancing act, the bike is as well built as you can hope for. <br><br>The custom paint is perfect. Not just the tins but the entire frame is custom painted. Front tire is brand new, rear tire is acceptable but is aged out. We installed a Lithium battery for quick easy start ups. This bike is stunning. The bike started its built back in 2006 with a full folder of parts invoices from the frame to the speedometer selection. It is a 35degree raked 5over Chopper Guys “Tall Guy” frame and is fitted with a 113ci Ultima engine with compression relief valves and a 6-speed Custom Chrome transmission. <br><br>Everything done on the bike is exceptional. Lots of little details that make this bike a perfect show bike. Always garage kept there is no rust, the twisted spoked wheels show exceptional and besides the tires being original (front tire needs to be replaced with aging sidewalls 90/90-21, $150 if we do it) rear tire should as well but is not critical, the bike needs absolutely nothing. Fires up and runs. I would personally opt for a different kickstand since it makes the bike lean heavy. The Dakota Digital Speedometer is not hooked up and does not record mileage.<br><br>The bike has a rear air-ride suspension installed that is working. LED lights wired properly and clean and of course the custom paint job all throughout the bike is exceptional with no flaking or peeling. The bike is titled as a 2022 ASPT chopper despite having a Custom Chrome VIN number stamped on the frame.<br><br>This is by far one of the cleanest choppers we have had. The pride and joy of someone at the price of the drive-train cost alone. Literally nothing to do here but ride it and enjoy. <br><br>This is a custom one-off built and does not qualify for financing with conventional lenders. This is out of the Down and Dirty lineup with a medium size rear end and manageable rake. A Pro-Street style chopper that will give you a lot of control over the bike and still leave you with the full custom chopper experience.</p><p> </p><p>The 100cc motor is plenty of power to move this bike at a nice clip. Just serviced and carb cleaned the bike runs excellent and is ready for new adventures. The bike has a few paint chips here and there. All reflected in the price but is overall in great condition. If you wanted to go and make the bike unique with your own paint, this is the perfect base. Mechanically the bike is top and it rides nice, softail suspension, good through the gears and lots of power on the 100ci motor. Cut rear fencer bobber look and chrome is mostly good on this Santee “Down and Dirty”.</p><p> </p><p>The starter gear often gets a dead-spot. Everything on the bike appears to be original Big Dog with all lettering and even the original frame VIN showing. We ran the VIN and it came back as no accident but the reason why the bike now has a ASPT title is unclear. <br><br>However, the bike is really nice and rides amazing. Fires right up and runs with no choke immediately. Paint is good with very few marks. See our walk-around video for more details. This is a Hardtail chopper. It is a little rougher ride but still very much manageable. Tires are original so they should be exchanged of you plan on riding this well balanced machine on a regular basis. While other custom bikes are hardly your daily rider, this one very much could be.<br><br>Speedometer, as with most Big Dogs, stopped working so no clear mileage reporting. In 2020 it was reported with 14,500 miles but that was an estimate, clearly.</p><p> </p><p>With the Chopper craze in the 90s and early 2000s there were several companies that came on the market with their creations trying to make a commercial name for themselves. While companies like West Coast Choppers catered to the exclusive custom one-of-build bike market Big Dog and others tried to mass produce these bikes. Few made it, Big Dog was one of the few. Recognized as one of the few custom builders with Kelley Blue ratings Big Dog has gone mainstream.<br>Founded in mid 1990 the company started to produce up to 10 variations of their bikes. Equipped with S&S Engine and transmissions they had a reliable drivetrain and could produce cost efficient bikes to those that could not afford $100,000 custom creations. This bike is a tribute to the US Airforce and specifically the Stealth fighter program. It comes with a bunch of awards this bike received as well as a show plaque about the built and the history behind the bike. <br><br>This is a running motorcycle that uses an EVO Harley Davidson motor and transmission and everything else is custom fabricated for this bike. The turn angles are very limited, air-ride suspension and neat little accents such as a airplane landing gear light mounted low, tail-flashers under the rear fender shrouds and so much more. The bike is a true gem and is an immediate conversation starter for anybody walking into our showroom. <br><br>This is not an easy riding bike or should be considered a daily rider. It is a show bike that is certainly capable of riding on the road but it is not a comfortable ride. A nice cruiser with lots of power, carbureted so easy to adjust to your liking. This bike is overall in good condition with some aftermarket parts being rusty but in general a nice bike. Had the front fender repainted at one point which is not matching the beautiful ghost flames of the rest of the bike. <br><br> </p><p>This is a great daily rider for someone who is looking for power and reliability. A great alternative frame built at a time when getting a Harley meant waiting on long waiting lists. The bike runs excellent, we just replaced the carburetor and cleaned the fuel system, gone through the bike up and down. Massive 230 rear tire and fat front tire give this bad boy a great look. The 100ci RevTech is a reliable motor with added compression relief valves for super easy start ups. This bike is a comfortable ride with good smooth suspension.</p><p><br>The bike did not come with a key when we got it but a new ignition switch is all it needs to get that fixed it you wanted to. Tires are older and should be replaced soon. The bike is ready for the road and new adventures. </p><p><br>KraftTech frames are in essence full copies of Harley frames and are used when your Harley frame sustained damage and can/should not be repaired. They are factory style bolt-on frames where you take off everything off your damaged Harley and bolt it onto the new frame. The bike will then get a new VIN issued and is technically not a “Harley Davidson” anymore but a “KraftTech”.
