2018 Yamaha Super Tenere 1200, <p> The 1200 Super Tenere!!            Yamaha s Ténéré line of bikes was meant to mimic the style and rugged nature of the Paris-Dakar racers famous for traversing some of the most unhospitable regions of planet earth, including the bike s namesake, the Ténéré region of the Sahara Desert.                                                                                                                               The 2018 Super Ténéré boasts a host of technologies to rival a German luxury sedan: electronic suspension, unified brake system, heated grips, cruise control, traction control, throttle-by-wire with dual-mode throttle control, LED rear lighting, and dual LCD displays. There s a large 23-litre fuel tank, dual aluminum "Jesse" brand,  32-litre side cases, rear rack, four-position adjustable windscreen, two-position adjustable seat height, and a dash mounted DC outlet, which all complement the bike s touring capabilities.  The side cases are lockable, water resistant, and easily removable.                                                                                                                                                                                                   The powerplant is an 1,199cc parallel-twin hung as a stressed member in a steel backbone frame with an aluminum swingarm, rolling on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. 2018 Harley-Davidson Breakout, <p> 2018 Harley Breakout!!                 Only 9,222 Miles!!!                                                                              The 2018 Breakout gets a smattering of other updates in addition to those coming to the entire Softail line.  The Breakout 114 was born of the customer desire for something long, low, and modern.  The 5.0-gallon fuel tankfrom years past has been ditched for a reshaped, smaller 3.5-gallon one, while the analog speedometer has been replaced by a semi-hidden digital one. ABS is standard on it.  It also borrows the headlight from used on Harley-Davidson s prototype electric motorcycle called Livewire.                                                                                                                                              The Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin engine packs the extra displacement for more power and torque across the rev range.  This one has Vance & Hines pipes on it too. On the intake side, it has a "Filter Charger" exposed filter on it.                         Let that mighty mill breath!!!                                                                                                                                                                   At the rear, Harley ditched the old Softail s under-engine hidden twin shocks in favor of a single under-seat coil-over unit. The changes make shock action conventional--that is the rear wheel hits a bump and compresses the shock--whereas the old design extended the shocks when the wheel hit a bump. The new design improves performance by offering increased wheel travel, improved damping and a larger range of spring preload adjustment, while still maintaining the hardtail look brought about by the shockless rear frame triangle.      How can you not see the FAT rear tire??  Both the tires are new.   It has been fully serviced, and it is ready to ride!!!   </p>

In fact, the 2018 KTM 250SX is substantially better in every conceivable way. Whereas the 2016 model was a warmed-over version of the old design, the 2018 KTM 250SX is all new. That’s because KTM poured resources into making the 2018 Factory Edition 250SX. As a result, KTM addressed many of MXA’s complaints, creating a superior bike that overshadows any of its predecessors.   2018 KTM 250SX: Thanks to increased horsepower across the range, the 2018 250SX feels stronger in the middle than past versions.  The up side to KTM's system are huge!!!  For 2018, KTM use a compact and lightweight design that is 2.2 pounds lighter then years past. The engineers have shaved weight in the swing arm drive for 2018.   The 2018 250 has totally new design engine, cylinder head,  cylinder, piston, crankshaft, transmission, cases and clutch.  It has more usable powerband with better delivery than the older version. Replacing the V-Max-derived, liquid-cooled V-4 with faux cooling fins and shaft drive is a Raider-derived, air-cooled, 1900cc V-twin with real cooling fins and belt drive.  The  all new Venture also has two throttle response modes, traction control, a 6-speed transmission, an assist-and-slipper clutch and linked ABS brakes.   Standard equipment includes adjustable rider/passenger ergonomics, adjustable levers, heated grips, seats and backrests, Sure-Park electric forward/reverse, an infotainment system (with a 7-inch color touchscreen, voice recognition, intercom, Bluetooth, Pandora and more), keyless ignition, central luggage locks, an electric windscreen, tire pressure monitoring, LED lighting, a 12V socket and two USB ports. 2018 Yamaha Eluder, <p>The Eluder a trunk less version of the Venture.  It has modern bodywork wrapped around a massive, 113-cubic-inch, air-cooled V-twin that has been time tested in it's loud-and-proud brother, the Raider. An overdrive sixth gear was added to the transmission for a relaxed highway riding and an assist-and-slipper clutch reduces effort at the lever (which is five-way adjustable, as is the front brake lever). And Yamaha s Chip Controlled Throttle system enables electronic cruise control, traction control and two throttle-response modes (Sport and Touring).  The Eluder has no trunk, passenger backrest or rear speakers, it has a shorter, non-adjustable windscreen. The Yamaha Street Glide!!!                                                     It s easy to maneuver at parking lot speeds. It carries most of its weight very low, and the Eluder doesn t have a heavy trunk/passenger backrest perched high up behind the rear axle. Contributing to rider confidence is one of the lowest in-class unladen seat heights 27.6 inches that makes it easy to plant both feet solidly on the ground at stops.   The Eluder has a thick, well-padded seat that s narrow in front, has a high rear bolster and is comfortable enough for a full day in the saddle. With long floorboards and a wide, pullback handlebar, the seating position easily accommodates my tall, long-arms-and-legs.    The broad fairing provides excellent wind protection from the shoulders down.    Lower vents allow the rider to adjust airflow at shin level.                                                                                                           Technology-wise, Yamaha jumped in with both feet in terms of infotainment. Centered between big analog gauges on the dash is a 7-inch, full-color, touchscreen display, which has sharp graphics and easy-to-read fonts and colors. The system can be navigated by tapping on the screen, pressing buttons on the left switchpod or using voice commands, and while there is a learning curve with the system s menus and features, after a full day of use it became second nature.     The big V-twin rumbles nicely at idle and when on the gas, with a pleasing, not-too-loud exhaust note.   This one has only 4,014 Miles on it. It has been fully serviced, and it is ready to ride!!! </p>

Even on those raised floorboards, there are a number of different places to comfortably put your feet. Passengers will appreciate the huge platform, along with nice handrails.   </p> <p><strong>The handlebars are also adjustable, so you can tailor the XMax to your body.</strong> Smaller riders will like that the bars can be moved back nearly an inch for a more-compact the riding triangle.      The XMax s sub-400 pound weight is kept low, so direction and lane changes are intuitive.  The tire and chassis combination on the 2018 Yamaha XMax is outstanding.     Don t worry about getting too aggressive with the left-hand brake lever ABS will bail you out unobtrusively.            You get the expected cavernous space under the seat, and it s large enough for two full-face helmets.
