XL Dual Sport Motorcycles for Sale in California

<p>This wondrous customized XL600R air-cooled single includes $1,500 of brand-new uninstalled parts purchased after acquisition from Pro Italia Motors who had acquired it as part of a very elderly rider's larger Estate Collection.</p><p>Have a pix of this original tank paint wrapped in red protecting the paint from damage. Prior to advertising and selling, Pro Italia told me they had a Honda Tech change the oil, filters, adjust the valves, rebuild and re-jet the carbs, and install a new ignitor, plug & points.</p><p>The bike was delivered to me just washed and exactly as it appears with Custom Exhaust, Racing Seat, Hard-plumbed Oil Cooler, matching EXCEL Nakasago Rims, and one key. I rode it around for eight miles on the 2009 tires. The exhaust sound is deep, soothing and very harmonious. Due to the lighter-than-stock weight of the bike and the OE 45 HP prior to opening the exhaust, and the fresh tune, the bike ran smooth, hardly vibrated at all, the throttle response was clean and quite snappy, and best of all, the bike kick started right up and did not smoke at all. After my one brief ride, I focused on buying/acquiring all the parts I thought necessary to make this XL600R my one keeper to meet her rule of only owning one bike. Not having ridden in forty years, this was my ninth bike purchase in the last four years, clearly learning two-wheelers had really changed.</p><p>Since I had planned on keeping it as my one bike I purchased the new: Stator, Ignition Coil, three Qts of Royal Purple, and two new sets of tires plus not pictured are brand new tubes and rim bands for the front and rear EXCEL Racing Nakasago rims.</p><p>The pictured Michelin Road Classics of 100/90 18 and a 130/80 17 exactly match the original geometry (Front height to Rear height of .1"!) that Honda Engineers had in mind with the stock 3.00/100 21 and the 5.12/100 17.</p><p>The second set of pictured brand new tires are the same model as the 2009 Pirelli's currently on the XL600R. The Front 110/80 18 matches the current size and the Rear is a 140/70 17 rather than the currently-mounted 140/80 17. The 140/70 combined with the 110/80 is still a very close geometry match to the stock OE sizes if you prefer a 110 and 140 or the 10.</p><p>The third set are Dunlops that I had previously purchased from a Honda Dealer as OE replacement rubber for the new 2022 Honda XR600L that I was considering.</p><p>All the aforementioned parts are included and part of the final Sale.</p><p>Lowballers can go crawl back under their rock.</p><p>Great bike!</p>
