Can-Am SPYDER Motorcycles for Sale

Can Am is a company that got its beginnings in 1971 with the production of motocross and enduro bikes. Throughout the 1970s, riders of these bikes had great success in various motocross races, establishing the brand among these bike enthusiasts. These early cycles used an engine from the Austrian Rotax company. This engine employed a compact rotary disc system, which gave it a gain in horsepower over Japanese bikes that were using piston port engines. The MX3 of 1977 was the forerunner of Can Am's lineup and had 36 horsepower, a full 6 horsepower more than even its closest competitor.

Unfortunately, soon after, the company stopped making vehicles with a recreation focus and instead turned their attention to transit equipment and aircraft manufacturing. Then, in 1983, the Can Am brand of motorcycles was outsourced to Armstrong-CCM Motorcycles. 1987 was the last year of production for Can Am's motorcycle lines.

Can Am was resurrected and revolutionized in 2006 with a total rebranding and the introduction of their all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). A year later, in 2007, the Can Am Spyder was unveiled. This innovative three-wheel roadster is now leading the way for similar models in Can Am's lineup. These vehicles are eye-catching and offer wide stance that's stable and offers great control. These vehicles have wide appeal.
