<p>The bike itself has 101616, but my mechanic had it shipped back to Harley and they replaced the cam shaft bearings that blew. He installed Andrews 26G camshafts for me They blew when I was in sturgis in 2006 which had only 38886 miles on it. So basically it was their fault. New stator 9/17/13, new oil lines 9/18/06, Drive belt at 61344, Fork seals 7/11/13 and have all the paperwork to prove. I always used Amsoil synthetic. Has a Big Bore 44mm CV Carb on which I messed up and did not shut off the gas to the Carb! At the time long story short my wife went into the hosipital and I forgot about it cause of situation! I work alot now and can`t seem to find the time to work on it! I hate seeing it parked under the cover. Needs a great home for someone to enjoy as much fun as we had! It still has alot of life to it! I start it but when I push the choke in it dies so I know unfortunately The carb needs a good cleaning. I have all the paperwork on it.</p><p>Further note I realize It`s not running right so I`m willing to go down in price for a good home cause it has alot more miles left on it. This a good safety feature. You can hit the  brakes as hard as you can. The tires will not lock up, and you will not go down.<br>Linked Brakes, the front and rear brakes are linked together. When you apply the front brakes, the computer on the bike applies the correct amount of pressure on the rear brakes. It takes the guessing game out. You don't have to hit your rear brakes. If you just apply, the rear brakes by themselves, the front brakes will not activate. This is good feature for going around a tight curve, and you need to reduce some speed. Then, the bike will not stand up.<br>ESA Electronic Suspension Adjustment You can adjust the suspension to sport mode, normal or smooth.  You can adjust for weight. <p> This is a CVO. I am the second owner when I purchased the bike in 2021 with 39,000 miles and change. The bike went right to the dealer to get the heated grips and water pump replaced. I had to have the bike looked at when I needed a tune. It was around 41,000 miles. The cam was not updated, the lifters were checked and in good shape. This was a problem on the 110. I had a Power Vision tune done on the dyno. It was a little loud for me so I had a Vortex baffle and a new tune during the 50,000 mile service. Race Tek springs with new neck bearings were done on the front end. The rear shocks were replaced with Road Glide stock shocks from a 2022 that were never used. There is a maintenance sheet in the photo section along with the latest tune. The bike is ready to go with tires that will finish the season. I changed the bars from 16" to 14" so you have the choice. The heated grips were replaced along with new wires in the bars. The lights were updated to LED with a run, brake turn for the rear. The latest updates are done on the Infotainment system and Navigation. New mirrors were put on with the stock mirrors in good shape. Motorcycle Drop Guards are on the bike also.</p>

The upright riding style of the GS bikes make for comfortable long rides. The R1200GS was built as a go anywhere do anything bike. Also, if you have never had a motorcycle with cruise control, it is a game changer on some of the long boring straight aways you are likely to encounter as you go from pretty/curvy place to pretty/curvy place. The push button start is convenient.</p><p><br></p><p>I took this bike on a 3000 plus mile trip summer of 2023. The bike performed well in every environment I put it in. The bike has been reliable for me the entire time I have owned it. I ride the bike to work as often as I drive my car, so the mileage will continue to slowly increase. </p><p><br></p><p>The Touratech Seat is a nice upgrade to the BMW plank that comes on the bike stock. The Touratech seat did get a small tear in it. It was repaired with nylon upholstery thread and leather repair glue (see pictures). </p><p><br></p><p>Please ask questions if you have them. I am interested in reasonable cash offers. I am not looking to trade. I have the title to the bike. I can meet you at your bank (local or close to Bartlett, Tennessee) if needed for bill of sale, notary, or cash.
