Legendary Honda reliability comes standard too. Big 16k service including valve adjustment performed at Rocky Mtn Cycle at 18,613mi so hardly any use since. 2001 HONDA RC 51, Honda surprised everyone when they announced a new liter-displacement V-twin superbike for its 2000 model lineup alongside the inline-four CBR929RR, as this meant taking on Ducati at its own v-twin game.
