<p>Low mileage for its age, yet has the battle scars showing how much it is loved. Many of miles and years are left in this baby. I’m the second owner. It spent the first five years and 5,700 miles of its life in the mountains outside of Colorado. I rode it to Pittsburgh in 2009. I was 51 years old and as glided through the twisties of Sunshine Canyon, I felt like I was 22 again. Maintenance is up to date, however, it does need new tires. Within the past two years I replaced the chain and sprockets, fork seals, battery, and installed a reusable air filter.Add-ons include Givi Rapid Release Side Case racks, Wolfman saddlebags, an SW Motech Top Case rack, SW Motech engine guards, Moose Racing Windscreen, and an aftermarket LED headlight. The F-650GS was never intended to be an adventure or a dual sport bike. That said, with the engine guards and the 50/50 tires it performed well off the pavement. Nice 1999 Heritage Springer Special. I am the second owner of this bike and have only put around 6000 miles on this bike since I purchased in 2002. The bike now has an actual total miles of approximately 20,400 miles. The bike was one of two bikes purchased at Molnar Harley Davidson in Hammond, In by two Germans who came to the USA to vacation for several months. The bike was customized somewhat with S&S carb and a few other items and nothing else has been done to it other then periodic maintenance, new tires etc. The duo eventually found their way to Florida .sold the bikes and flew back. I purchased it at Gator Harley in Leesburg, Fl. The bike is comfortable and rides as it should. Pretty nice looking too.
