<p>2016 BMW R1200RT-P, retired police motorcycle. This beast of a bike proudly served the citizens of Conroe, TX and now can live a simpler life serving you. This bike is equipped with the highly-sought narrow top-opening side cases, center-stand and crash bars protecting the engine and side cases.The bike has 90,138 miles on the clock.</p><p><br></p><p>Service/repairs completed since I bought it include:</p><p>New clutch pressure plate</p><p>New front and rear brake rotors</p><p>Final drive serviceOil and oil filter change</p><p>Coolant flush</p><p>2x new batteries</p><p>Entire wiring harness was replaced (when it was decommissioned they cut the emergency lights out but with the new harness installed by the dealer you can add all the emergency lights back on if you want)</p><p>Battery tender charging pigtail installed</p><p><br></p><p>The bike has unfortunately developed an occasional difficulty starting, possibly due to carbon built up in the cylinders; I have used Sea Foam and it seems to have helped a little bit. Also, there is intermittent trouble with the charging system, in which while riding the batteries do not seem to be recharging.</p><p><br></p><p>Clean title in hand; cash only in-person. Would be open to a trade for a cruiser of similar value with clean title.</p>

For 32 years “the GS” has been defining its segment and has proven to be the trusty companion on any motorcycle adventure. BMW Motorrad is now embarking on a new chapter of its success story and is yet again perfecting the iconic R 1200 GS.
