2016 Honda VFR1200X, <p> The VFR1200X Only 914 Miles!!!                                                                                               This is to me is a new generation sport touring machine!!           The 1,237 cc (75.5 cu in) V-Four engine is a re-tuned version of the engine that was first used on the 2010 VFR1200F model. This Crosstourer is equipped with a smooth shifting conventional six-speed manual transmission, and it has shaft drive!!  The engine's power is immediate, with handfuls of torque and plenty of power all the way to the redline, which hits just shy of 9,000 rpm. There are three different levels of traction control to keep power in check and, of course, ABS.    The VFR1200X features linked brakes with ABS that cannot be disabled.    Suspension duties are tackled by a KYB fork and Honda Pro-Link shock. Both the 43 mm fork up front and the shock out back have adjustments for preload, as well as rebound damping.   The look of the single-sided swing arm with the spoked wheels is very cool. The fact that the spoked wheels are tubeless is even cooler.              Overall, the VFR1200X feels like a big sport bike with a upright seating position.                                                                  This one looks like new, with only 914 miles on it!!! </p>

Check out the large binder in the trunk. It is a factory service manual. What a plus to have that!!!  In the left saddle bag you will see a factory tool kit.  The GL 1500 Gold Wing was Honda's top of the line touring bike from 1988 to 2001, This one is a 1998. The Engine on the GL 1500 models is a liquid cooled, horizontally opposed six cylinder 1520 cc with single overhead camshafts and hydraulically operated lifters. Fuel is delivered to two down-draft CV carburetors by an electric fuel pump. The front suspension uses a pair of conventional damper rod forks with an anti-dive device built in. Final drive is by a shaft. The front brakes uses dual disc and the rear brake uses a single disc, the front and rear brakes are interlinked; the brake pedal operates the front left brake as well as the rear brake. Suspension on the SP is a track-ready Ohlins system front and rear.</p><p style="margin-bottom: 1em;">But the best news yet may be the SP’s Honda Selectable Torque Control. With three pre-programmed modes and two more that are fully customizable, you can fine-tune your bike’s power delivery with the push of a button.</p><p style="margin-bottom: 1em;">In addition to the stunning SP, Honda is offering an even more exotic CBR1000RR SP2 in extremely limited numbers for the most serious enthusiasts and professional racers. This street legal motorcycle is being produced in small quantities sufficient for racing homologation, and it will be the basis for competition in World Superbike, AMA MotoAmerica and other global racing series. The SP2 has all of the advanced features of the SP, plus forged Marchesini wheels and a unique cylinder head with larger intake and exhaust valves.
