Regarding the lugguge, not only can the cases be removed easily, but the whole frame comes on an off in less than one minute. This transforms the bike from a long distange, cross-country machine to an around-town, canyon-twisting or offroad bike, very quickly. With the canbus, the lights are controlled and sync'd to the BMW computer, allowing you to make adjustments via the wheel on the handlebar. Also the Denali lights are tied into the high beam, so when you hit the high beam, all lights go full bright, so it lights the road like its mid-day. The "passing" feature strobes all the lights for maximum attention when passing, and when the Denali Soundbomb horn is actuated, all the lights strobe as well. This bike has been my baby and I hate to see it go, but it is time. Current version of this bike with these options would cost well over 27K. This bike is barely broken in, runs beautifully, and is ready for your adventures.</p><p>Also includes a BMW Navi 6 GPS, a premium outdoor waterproof cover, and a new uninstalled ALTrider brake pedal platform and riser.</p>

<p>I bought this bike new in 2020, from Erico Motor Sports in Denver, when I was 60 years old - watched them take it out of the crate, assemble and safety check ride it. I had Erico put on the full Termignoni racing exhaust ($4,000) and the supporting tuned ECU. The bike is a complete dragster of a machine and carves the curves incredibly well. I also had an Italian custom seat cover installed. Erico has done all the maintenance, the last service being done less than 100 miles ago. This awesome bike is ready to go, and go fast. I no longer get to ride the stunning Valley Rd to work (which is why I got the bike) as my job moved deep into the city. Original seat and exhaust come with the bike if desired. The standard comes in one color (Glass Sparkle Black/Solid Iron Gray) and has cast wheels and no S.I.R.S. Move up a level to the XT, and you get quite a bit more: S.I.R.S, spoked wheels, an adjustable seat, a center stand, engine guards, a lower cowl, an adjustable windscreen, more stylish mirrors and handguards, and two color options: eye-catching Champion Yellow No. 2 with a blue seat and accents, and Pearl Brilliant White/Glass Blaze orange.</p><p> </p><p>Despite all of the changes, in motion, the V-Strom is still a V-Strom at heart, which is a good thing. It's still extremely comfortable and solid as a rock at speed. In my opinion, there just isn't a motorcycle more comfortable to ride on the street than the V-Strom, except for perhaps a Honda Gold Wing (even then). Luckily, nothing has changed in that department for 2020 when it comes to the 'Strom; however, what has changed is power-there is more of it. It still has great bottom-to-mid pull but definitely delivers the goods much better than before from mid on up. The V-Strom has always had a strong but not necessarily exciting motor, but now it has a little bit more of both. Even the engine sounds a bit more "enthusiastic."</p><p> </p><p>You'll easily notice the difference between the three engine modes. "B" seems to find the happy medium between the noticeably more aggressive and abrupt "A" mode and the mellower "C" mode. However, all three have their usefulness, but B mode is excellent all-around and was where I left it most of the time.</p><p>Throttle response in all modes is superb; there are no hiccups or surprises anywhere. Same when it comes to shifting the six-speed transmission. Gear changes require just a light nudge on the shifter, and the slipper clutch ensures that it stays that way when things get hot and heavy on the twisties.</p><p> </p>
