<p>This is a 2006 Harley Davidson FXSTI with 1,990 original miles on it.Bike runs great, has a new front tire and tube, because I ran over a utility razor blade in my yard. The way you see it is how I bought it. I owned a 2006 before identical bike rides great looks great, I was going to remove the crash bar but since I decided to sell it I figured someone else might want it. The reason I'm selling is I bought a 2001 FXSTI after I bought the 06 , reason being I have a crashed 2001 FXSTI that I bought 15 years ago and found out any parts I buy for wrecked bike have to have a receipt and VIN number from the bike the parts came from,so every used part i bought at swap meets and on eBay I can't use,so the new 2001 will be the donor bike so I can get a salvage title. I'm asking What I paid for bike no more, Bike was serviced when I bought it so won't need an oil change for a while. I bought bike with 1,820 miles on it. I have to keep the 2001 but can't afford to keep the 2006 and don't have the room in my garage. Price is negotiable. There is some corrosion in few places but can see in pictures,please look closely at all photos. This motorcycle was originally from New York, so that would explain the corrosion you see. With subtle Suzuki Boulevard styling, the firmly mounted windscreen offers protection without distraction. Wind buffeting is minimized by allowing just the right amount of air to pass above the headlight.</p><li>Engine</li><p>The 1462cc (90 cubic inch) long-stroke, liquid cooled, SOHC, 4-valves-per-cylinder, 54 degree V-Twin engine is built to deliver massive torque while maintaining efficient operation.</p><p>Each aluminum-alloy cylinder is plated with Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM), a coating of nickel-phosphorus-silicon-carbide that reduces friction and increases heat transfer. The result is increased durability and ring seal. Each piston’s upper compression ring and oil control ring are given a chrome-nitride coating to make them harder and smoother to further reduce friction.</p><li>Transmission</li><p>The Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) reduces the force needed to pull in the clutch lever so clutch operation remains light. The system produces smooth downshifts by reducing pressure on the clutch plates under deceleration.</p><li>Chassis</li><p>Design engineers married the desire for time-honored appeal with the need for modern performance.
