<p>Street Glide®</p><p style="margin-bottom: 1em;">The Harley Davidson Touring Street Glide was inspired by the streets. Its chassis is based on a rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm, both carefully forged to be able to cope with the demands of long haul touring.                                    This one has some custom touches that set it apart from other bikes on the road. Starting with the chrome front end, extra wide, Chrome front wheel, The brake rotors have been changed to full floaters, and a super over-sized front tire, all topped off by a custom front fender.                                                                                                                                                                           The Stock bars have given way for a set that are wider, and taller than stock, and they are also chrome!! The sound system has been up graded with aftermarket speakers in the fairing, and it has lower leggings with large speakers in them. Tunes that ROCK!!!                                                                                                                                     The exhaust is a great sounding, 2 into 1 "Bassani" system. On the intake side of things, it sports a Screaming Eagle open air filter system.  It has a Harley tuner that is included with it too. <br>The Harley-Davidson Touring FLHX Street Glide is powered by an air-cooled Twin Cam 103 engine with integrated oil-cooler. 2018 Yamaha Star Venture TC, <p> This bike has been described as R1-meets-1960s-Americana-muscle    The all new Yamaha Venture for 2018 has received a total reboot. Replacing the V-Max-derived, liquid-cooled V-4 with faux cooling fins and shaft drive is a Raider-derived, air-cooled, 1900cc V-twin with real cooling fins and belt drive.  The  all new Venture also has two throttle response modes, traction control, a 6-speed transmission, an assist-and-slipper clutch and linked ABS brakes.   Standard equipment includes adjustable rider/passenger ergonomics, adjustable levers, heated grips, seats and backrests, Sure-Park electric forward/reverse, an infotainment system (with a 7-inch color touchscreen, voice recognition, intercom, Bluetooth, Pandora and more), keyless ignition, central luggage locks, an electric windscreen, tire pressure monitoring, LED lighting, a 12V socket and two USB ports. The bike that we have here has the Transcontinental (TC) accessory package, which adds LED fog lights, a security alarm, rear speakers, dual-zone audio, passenger storage compartments and GPS navigation, CB radio and SiriusXM satellite radio to the infotainment system.  Seat height is just 27.3", and the riding position is very relaxed, with an easy reach to a wide, pullback handlebar, while the large floorboards allow you to move your legs around for comfort. The windshield is electrically adjustable can be raised 3.5", I have shown it in the photos both in the low, and the high position. The rider s seat bolster is adjustable fore and aft over a 1.18" range, and the passenger floorboards are height adjustable.    There are convenient storage compartments in the fairing; the right one contains a USB connector for electronic device connectivity, and it locks electrically using the key fob. Oh yes, the bike has a key fob for keyless staring, and it operates the saddlebag and top-case locks remotely.    The Yamaha Star Venture TC is the new (big) kid on the block in the luxury-touring category, and it is loaded with features; it is smooth and torquey, and it is manageable to ride!!   Ready to tour, The Star Venture is!!!   This one is priced WAY below book!! 2018 Yamaha Eluder, <p>The Eluder a trunk less version of the Venture.  It has modern bodywork wrapped around a massive, 113-cubic-inch, air-cooled V-twin that has been time tested in it's loud-and-proud brother, the Raider. An overdrive sixth gear was added to the transmission for a relaxed highway riding and an assist-and-slipper clutch reduces effort at the lever (which is five-way adjustable, as is the front brake lever). And Yamaha s Chip Controlled Throttle system enables electronic cruise control, traction control and two throttle-response modes (Sport and Touring).  The Eluder has no trunk, passenger backrest or rear speakers, it has a shorter, non-adjustable windscreen. The Yamaha Street Glide!!!                                                     It s easy to maneuver at parking lot speeds. It carries most of its weight very low, and the Eluder doesn t have a heavy trunk/passenger backrest perched high up behind the rear axle. Contributing to rider confidence is one of the lowest in-class unladen seat heights 27.6 inches that makes it easy to plant both feet solidly on the ground at stops.   The Eluder has a thick, well-padded seat that s narrow in front, has a high rear bolster and is comfortable enough for a full day in the saddle. With long floorboards and a wide, pullback handlebar, the seating position easily accommodates my tall, long-arms-and-legs.    The broad fairing provides excellent wind protection from the shoulders down.    Lower vents allow the rider to adjust airflow at shin level.                                                                                                           Technology-wise, Yamaha jumped in with both feet in terms of infotainment. Centered between big analog gauges on the dash is a 7-inch, full-color, touchscreen display, which has sharp graphics and easy-to-read fonts and colors. The system can be navigated by tapping on the screen, pressing buttons on the left switchpod or using voice commands, and while there is a learning curve with the system s menus and features, after a full day of use it became second nature.     The big V-twin rumbles nicely at idle and when on the gas, with a pleasing, not-too-loud exhaust note.   This one has only 4,014 Miles on it. It has been fully serviced, and it is ready to ride!!! </p>
