<p>Low mileage for its age, yet has the battle scars showing how much it is loved. Many of miles and years are left in this baby. I’m the second owner. It spent the first five years and 5,700 miles of its life in the mountains outside of Colorado. I rode it to Pittsburgh in 2009. I was 51 years old and as glided through the twisties of Sunshine Canyon, I felt like I was 22 again. Maintenance is up to date, however, it does need new tires. Within the past two years I replaced the chain and sprockets, fork seals, battery, and installed a reusable air filter.Add-ons include Givi Rapid Release Side Case racks, Wolfman saddlebags, an SW Motech Top Case rack, SW Motech engine guards, Moose Racing Windscreen, and an aftermarket LED headlight. Most of my riding was in the city (providing one deigns to call Pittsburgh a city). I took it on annual 2,000 mile road trips, and several trips along fire roads in the state forests. The F-650GS was never intended to be an adventure or a dual sport bike. That said, with the engine guards and the 50/50 tires it performed well off the pavement. I recently purchased a 1250-GS and per the agreement with my wife, I am reluctantly selling this bike. First reasonable cash offer rides away on it.</p>

The transmission has optimized gear ratios that help to deliver engine torque efficiently. The result is a transmission that helps bring out more of the low- to mid-speed torque and excellent response characteristics.</li><li id=16791771 class=productFeature>The ride-by-wire Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) system senses the slightest throttle input by the rider, relays the data to the ECU, which instantaneously calculates the ideal throttle valve opening based on engine rpm and throttle opening, and then sends commands to a servo-motor actuator that moves the throttle valve which actively controls the intake airflow volume. This is a technology contributing to the rider&#8217s feeling of torque and controllability from the 3-cylinder engine.</li><li id=16791772 class=productFeature>The FZ-09 is equipped with Yamaha D-MODE (or &#8220Drive Mode&#8221) variable throttle control system to allow the rider to choose the optimum engine character for their riding situation. The rider can choose at will from three throttle valve control maps (Standard Mode, &#8220A&#8221 Mode, and &#8220B&#8221 Mode) for different performance characteristics. Operation is performed by a button on the handlebars. STD Mode is set to accommodate a wide range of riding conditions. In this mode the rider can enjoy the 3-cylinder engine&#8217s linear torque feeling from low speeds all the way up to high speeds. A-Mode lets the rider enjoy sharper throttle response in the low-to mid-rpm range than the STD Mode. B-Mode lets the rider enjoy milder throttle response than the STD Mode for more relaxed power character

1997 Suzuki TL1000S Fuel Injected V-Twin with only 5,225k miles! Super clean bike! Never wrecked! Owned this since 1999 and I've avoided the "Widowmaker" moniker this bike was given due to power, tank slap and suspension issues. The bike does have a steering stabilizer on it which stops the "tank slap" of the handlebars. Never had an issue there. Yoshimura RS-3 Carbon Fiber exhaust. K&N Air Filter. DynoJet Tuner. New plug, Synthetic oil & filter, performance clutches and new front tire just last year all with probably 100 miles on it since then. This is the year to have the S model as it has the 135hp engine which is the same as the R model received in 1998 and the S model was then detuned. 79 ft/lbs Torque. Top speed of 165mph. Solo seat cover is pictured and there is a seat pad for a passenger that it can be swapped out with. I also have a tank cover. You'd be hard pressed to find a chip in the paint although it does need detailed right now. I'm a Harley guy now and you can tell by the mileage I hardly ever used it. I'd go out for a quick half hour trip and back most of the time. Also billed as a torque monster this bike will pop a wheelie off the start with no clutch just blipping the throttle and I've seen videos of riders going down the drag strip in a wheelie the whole way! These bikes are becoming rare and will be a collectors item soon and I've already seen them in a few motorcycle books already as they've earned a place in motorcycle history.
