In the rear, the Uni-Trak® link-mounted shock features fully adjustable spring preload and four-position rebound damping with 9.4 inches of travel.</p>

<p>CHASSIS<br>TAKE FIRST: Supermini wheels, MX33 Dunlop tires, and disc brakes give the KX™112 enhanced grip and stopping power. Riders can fine tune settings with an adjustable suspension and rely on a sturdy perimeter frame to help them push hard during long motos.<br>STAY GROUNDED: Dunlop MX33 tires offer excellent grip, slide control, bump absorption and durability. Large 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels contribute to a taller overall seat height and higher ground clearance (compared to KX™85) that’s well suited for supermini riders.<br>PUSH HARDER: Equipped with a sturdy high-tensile steel perimeter frame designed to harness the engine’s power, the frame offers the advantages of strength and torsional rigidity, allowing riders to push hard on the track.<br>FINE TUNED SUSPENSION: An inverted front fork provides excellent damping and bottoming resistance, allowing riders to attack the track while contributing to ride comfort. An adjustable compression damping gives riders the ability to fine-tune their settings to match track conditions and personal preferences. Uni-Trak® rear suspension is adjustable for compression and rebound damping, as well as spring preload.<br>PETAL DISC BRAKES: Just like the larger KX™ motorcycle models, the KX™112 is equipped with front and rear petal disc brakes. <p>AGILE HANDLING<br>BUILT FOR AGILITY: The KX™250 motorcycle features an evolution of the KX™450 motorcycle's lightweight aluminum perimeter frame and swingarm, race-ready suspension, and powerful brakes.<br>LIGHT & NIMBLE: The lightweight aluminum perimeter frame contributes to the KX™250's quick handling, confidence inspiring stability, and slim ergonomics.<br>SMOOTH RIDE: A high-performance KYB 48mm inverted coil-spring fork handles suspension duties up front while the large diameter inner tubes and large 25mm damping pistons deliver smooth action and firm damping. For 2023, the front and rear suspension settings have been revised contributing to improved cornering -- a more planted feel upon corner entry and improved performance at the exit of the corner for stronger acceleration.<br>TRACTION IS KEY: Dunlop MX33 tires offer increased traction to match the engine’s increased power. Stay grounded with a wider 110/90-19 rear tire that contributes to a greater planted feeling and increased rear wheel traction. An oversized 270mm front disc contributes to strong front brake force and a high level of control and the 240mm diameter rear disc offers performance for controllability and total riding confidence.<br>MORE POWER<br>TAKE THE LEAD: For 2023, thanks to an updated engine, the most powerful KX™250 to date was achieved, increasing performance at all rpm. Complementing the improved power of the 249cc 4-stroke engine is the racer-friendly gearing, revised suspension settings, and tires that offer improved handling when cornering. Together, these updates result in quicker lap times that make the KX™250 motorcycle an even more potent weapon on the racetrack.<br>START STRONG. FINISH STRONG.: Tuned for race-experienced riders, a high rev limit and stronger performance across the entire rev-range translates to quicker lap times and better holeshot performance.<br>PEAK PERFORMANCE: The downdraft-style intake layout, intake valves, and piston deliver increased cylinder-filling efficiency and improved combustion for increased peak performance.<br>POWER. DELIVERED.: In addition to increased performance, a racer-friendly power delivery was achieved by increasing the moment of inertia in the magneto rotor. Riders will also benefit from lighter clutch operation thanks to the clutch pushrod.<br>POWER THROUGH: Advanced ignition timing was developed to complement the engine changes made to the KX™250. Thanks to a 100mm longer exhaust header pipe, riders can enjoy increased low-mid torque.<br>SMOOTH TRANSITION: Based on feedback from Kawasaki’s factory racing efforts, the transmission's first gear was lengthened to make it easier to use in a greater number of situations. Second gear ratio was also fine-tuned to offer a smooth transition from first to third gear. For increased strength, the connecting rod big-end bearing crush height was increased and the main holding circuit relay was revised.</p>

<p>CHASSIS & ERGONOMICS<br>BALANCE MEETS PRECISION: A lightweight aluminum perimeter frame and swingarm provide overall rigidity balance, contributing to precise cornering. Front-end feel is predictable and maximum traction is gained at the rear wheel.<br>GET A GRIP: Wide footpegs ensure excellent grip for optimum comfort and control, and make it easier to weight the pegs.<br>PERFECT FIT: Find your best performance with the Kawasaki ERGO-FIT® advantage. Four handlebar positions and two footpeg positions allow you to tailor the KX™450 motorcycle to your body size, riding style and preference.<br>RENTHAL® FATBAR® HANDLEBAR: A factory-style aluminum Renthal® Fatbar® handlebar comes standard. With grips positioned low and close to the body, riders can shift weight forward easily to improve front wheel traction, and increase front traction feel, to ride more confidently at the limit.<br>CHASSIS MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY<br>ERGO-FIT®: Proper fit is key for rider comfort and control. However, the ideal fit varies from rider to rider, depending on their physical dimensions and riding style. ERGO-FIT® is an interface system designed to allow riders to find their ideal riding position. Various points of the chassis interface (the handlebar, footpegs and seat, etc.) can be adjusted through a combination of interchangeable parts and parts with adjustable positions. This enables a wide range of riders to find a riding position that offers both comfort and control. Feeling at one with their machine, they will be able to experience how Kawasaki machines are fun and rewarding to ride. *Adjustable parts and their range of adjustability vary by model.<br>ENGINE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY<br>KLCM (KAWASAKI LAUNCH CONTROL MODE): Designed to assist riders by optimizing acceleration from a stop, KLCM electronically manages engine output to minimize wheel spin when moving off. With the clutch lever pulled in and the system activated, engine speed is limited to a determined speed while the rider holds the throttle open. Once the rider releases the clutch lever to engage the clutch, engine speed is allowed to increase, but power is regulated to minimize wheel spin and help keep the front wheel on the ground. The system disengages automatically once a predetermined speed has been reached, or when the rider shifts into third gear. Depending on the model, riders can choose from multiple modes, each offering a progressively greater level of intrusion.</p>
