<p>1981 Yamaha Seca 750 not Maxim. That is what I started with and it had 7700 miles on it. This bike has been totally restored and turned into a Cafe Racer. I took it down to the frame, and after modifications I took the frame, wheels, and swing arm to powder coat. As you can see there are either new parts or restored parts. There is too much to list here so I will be glad to talk to you on the phone about it. A lot of time and money went into this project. The upright riding style of the GS bikes make for comfortable long rides. The R1200GS was built as a go anywhere do anything bike. Also, if you have never had a motorcycle with cruise control, it is a game changer on some of the long boring straight aways you are likely to encounter as you go from pretty/curvy place to pretty/curvy place. The push button start is convenient.</p><p><br></p><p>I took this bike on a 3000 plus mile trip summer of 2023. The bike performed well in every environment I put it in. The bike has been reliable for me the entire time I have owned it. I ride the bike to work as often as I drive my car, so the mileage will continue to slowly increase. </p><p><br></p><p>The Touratech Seat is a nice upgrade to the BMW plank that comes on the bike stock. The Touratech seat did get a small tear in it. It was repaired with nylon upholstery thread and leather repair glue (see pictures). </p><p><br></p><p>Please ask questions if you have them. I am interested in reasonable cash offers. I am not looking to trade. I have the title to the bike. I can meet you at your bank (local or close to Bartlett, Tennessee) if needed for bill of sale, notary, or cash. If you would like to test ride, I will require cash in my hand for the purchase while you ride. It would be a “you break it you bought it” situation. Before you ride, I will need to take a picture of your license with a motorcycle endorsement, and any current vehicle insurance card with your name on it.</p><p><br></p><p>The bike had its 60k service at Performance Plus in Memphis in December of 2023.</p>

<p> This is a CVO. I am the second owner when I purchased the bike in 2021 with 39,000 miles and change. The bike went right to the dealer to get the heated grips and water pump replaced. I had to have the bike looked at when I needed a tune. It was around 41,000 miles. The cam was not updated, the lifters were checked and in good shape. This was a problem on the 110. I had a Power Vision tune done on the dyno. It was a little loud for me so I had a Vortex baffle and a new tune during the 50,000 mile service. Race Tek springs with new neck bearings were done on the front end. The rear shocks were replaced with Road Glide stock shocks from a 2022 that were never used. There is a maintenance sheet in the photo section along with the latest tune. The bike is ready to go with tires that will finish the season. I changed the bars from 16" to 14" so you have the choice. The heated grips were replaced along with new wires in the bars. The lights were updated to LED with a run, brake turn for the rear. The latest updates are done on the Infotainment system and Navigation. New mirrors were put on with the stock mirrors in good shape. Motorcycle Drop Guards are on the bike also.</p>
