With just over 8000 miles on the bike, the motor is just getting past the break-in period. The bike is a one owner it has aftermarket cobra mufflers, a stage one breather, upgrade HD grips, passenger foot boards, rider & passenger backrest, luggage rack, two seats, the converter has been gutted and it was Dynoed at the dealership. I'm still riding so the mileage will change.

<p>H-D XR1200 in fast Orange. The XR1200 is the best Sportster most have never heard of. Based on the legendary XR-750 Flat Track Racer from the 70's, it was first introduced as a Europe only model then in 2009 it was released in the United States. </p><p><br></p><p>This bike is very fast with a wide power band, allowing easy cruising with instant passing power without having to downshift. I have owned this bike since 2013 when I bought it from Whitt's Harley Davidson in Manassas VA. As far as I know, I am the second owner unless you count the dealer then I would be third. It has been well cared for, being stored indoors and winterized properly. Keep in mind it is regularly ridden and shows signs of use, this is NOT a garage queen. Serviced regularly. I’ve taken this bike on 600 mile trips, used it as daily driver to work, weekend rides, and it has never left me stranded. </p><p><br></p><p>This bike has never had the dreaded fuel tank swelling that plagues most XR's, the cover fits on the tank with no issues and I have never had to replace the original tank. </p><p><br></p><p>Tuned and dyno’d showing 85.8 hp and 75.2 ft-lbs</p><p><br></p><p>About 5 years ago I had it parked in a gated and covered parking lot and someone stole the battery, only the battery strap was damaged which was replaced along with a new battery and side cover.
