<p>2023 Ural Gear-Up CARIBEAN BLUE, WITH UNDERCOATING INSIDE AND OUT !</p>

<p>For sale 1974 Honda 250XL K1 Enduro.</p><p></p><p>I’ve owned this bike since 2016.</p><p></p><p>Since purchasing I’ve replaced the ignition system (points, condenser, coil and mechanical advance mechanism). The points recently set, gapped and ignition timed. </p><p> Installed new front fork seals and boots. New aftermarket taillight. New grips, clutch and brake levers, rear view mirror, foot/rear brake lever, front foot pegs, rear foot pegs, throttle cable, rear brake pads, new shifter seal and left side engine cover gasket. It has new tires and tubes. </p><p></p><p>The cam chain has been recently adjusted. The carb recently cleaned and adjusted. Engine oil has been changed. This bike kick starts easily, runs, rides and stops great. The clutch works as it should and the bike shifts properly through the gears. Speedo and tach work. The lights work.</p><p></p><p>Cosmetically… there are a couple of dents in the tank and scratches on the headlight chrome ring. (see photos) The front and rear fenders have been repainted black. No rust on the frame or exhaust and the chrome is in good condition/not pitted.</p><p></p><p>I’m including two good/detailed shop manuals and some extra parts (shown in photo).</p><p></p><p>This classic Enduro/Dual-Sport bike is in good condition (for being 50 years old) and is ready to ride on and/or off road.</p><p></p><p>This Honda 250XL is registered/licensed in Illinois and I have a clear title in my name.</p>

This KLX 230 was purchased around summer of 2022 in Monterey, CA. The bike was purchased new from a dealership, and I am the one and only owner. The bike is currently titled and registered here in the state of Illinois, and has 488 miles on it. It is street legal. The first oil change has already been completed. This is a special edition version of the bike. A great bike for beginners, or riders that have had a long hiatus. The clutch system is very smooth and easy to work with. Makes getting a feel for its manual transmission much easier than when I was learning how to ride as a kid. The Bike does get up to highway speeds. I recommend 70 being the furthest you would push the bike as is. It has a limiter in it at 75. It was a very smooth ride when going around town and it handled the highway just fine. I largely used it to ride through some of the red wood forests in the Santa Cruz mountains and it preformed wonderfully. I believe the bike as a weight of about 300 pounds; however, this was no problem in turns of control or balance. I am not particularly a big or strong person. I did not have any problems moving it around as needed. Its great on gas, in CA I don't believe I ever paid over $10 in gas, and it's certainly not cheap over there. My only complaints about the bike are both fairly minor. It's very quiet with the stock muffler and I had some problems hearing the engine's rpms when it came to timing gear shifts appropriately, but the longer I rode it the less this became an issue, especially after some minor adjustments.Some minor cosmetic scrapes from my boots along the panels and stickers. The bike has never been dropped.Minor modifications have been done to the bike, all done by my father, but I have also been reassured by a mechanic that these are common modifications that dual sport ownerstypically have done to their bikes and will not cause issues. The muffler baffle has been removed, the snorkel to the bike has been removed, I still have both pieces of equipment that can be turned over as well if needed. These modifications were made because it was very difficult for me to hear the engine when it came to proper timing to shift gears.A few holes have been drilled into the right back panel over the location of the air filter, and a small rectangular hole over the air filter compartment to allow the bike to get better air flow.The stock seat and cover has been replaced with a new more comfortable one made by Seat Concepts.
