When you apply the front brakes, the computer on the bike applies the correct amount of pressure on the rear brakes. It takes the guessing game out. You don't have to hit your rear brakes. If you just apply, the rear brakes by themselves, the front brakes will not activate. This is good feature for going around a tight curve, and you need to reduce some speed.
