<p>NATIONWIDE DELIVERY AVAILABLE</p><p>1978 Honda CB750K (last year for the SOHC motor).  Nice original bike with only 21,250 miles.  Runs great.  Still has its original 4 into 4 factory exhaust, original factory paint, etc.  Just a cool old CB750 SOHC, perfect to ride, show, and enjoy.</p><p>This bike came from a local estate, and had been sitting in the owners garage unridden for about 10 years. First thing we did was give it a good bath.  Once on the lift, the carburetors were stripped and put in our ultrasonic cleaner.  Once clean, they were reassembled with new parts as needed.  The ignition points were cleaned, gapped, and timing adjusted to spec.  The valve clearances were all adjusted to Honda specs.  The fuel tank was drained and flushed, and a brand new petcock installed.  Tank is very clean inside with just minor rust showing in a few places.  The engine oil and oil filter were replaced.  The engine had a cool retro oil pressure gauge installed, so we left that alone.  A new battery was installed, and then the bike was fired up for the first time in several years.  The carburetors then were tuned to perfection and synchronized.  This bike just purrs.  The headpipes have a little blue-ing, as this is how it was when it came to us. This is usually caused when a bike was ran a bit too lean (many times from clogged jets) which blues the header.  Any previous lean issue has been corrected now, and it runs great.  At this point two new tires and tubes were mounted and balanced. The seat was recovered in correct 1978 pattern with correct gold Honda logo. <p>NATIONWIDE DELIVERY AVAILABLE.<br><br>This is a 1978 Honda GL1000 Goldwing. It has a bit under 53k miles and is in very nice condition. It starts right up, and after a brief warm up period, its ready to ride. Everything works on this bike, including all gauges, switches, and lights. These early 'Wings are quickly becoming collectable and harder to find in nice original condition like this. This bike has its original gloss dark burgundy paint still.<br><br>When this bike arrived to us, it was the typical '70s Touring setup with the Vetter fairing, and chrome guard rails everywhere. We always remove all this when we recondition an early Goldwing, and get it back to a stock setup. During the reconditioning process, both the front and rear brake systems were gone thru, included flushing, cleaning, replacing seals as needed, and reassembled and serviced with new DOT 4 fluid. The carburetors were disassembled, ultrasonic cleaned, reassembled with new parts as needed, then reinstalled, tuned to the bike, and synchronized and then a brand new battery installed. And of course every bike always gets a fresh oil & filter change.<br><br>If you're looking for a nice, original and correct, 1970's era GL1000 Goldwing, this one is worth your consideration. This bike has only 4032 miles. Very well cared for bike, with original paint. Even the original brown engine paint Honda used on the MT series bikes. Everything on this bike is in good working condition, and the bike runs very well. Even still has its original plastic MT tool holder case with original Honda toolkit inside (the plastic case is ALWAYS missing on these...but not this one).<br><br>This bike was acquired as part of a large vintage Japanese bike collector here in OH. All of these bike were kept indoors in climate controlled storage, and rarely ran or ridden. When we received this bike, we put it back into service by ultrasonic cleaning the carburetor, replacing the transmission oil, adding fresh 2 stroke oil, and fresh non-ethanol 90 octane fuel. The tires were recently replaced and are like new. A new battery was also installed during the servicing. The fuel tank is mostly clean metal, but does have some very very light rust in places. We do not like to use tank liners unless absolutely necessary, which this tank absolutely does not need. But we do install a clear inline fuel filter to catch any particles that may come thru before they can enter the carburetor.<br><br>This bike is perfect for the collector of Vintage Japanese motorcycles. <p>1972 Honda CL175 Scrambler. Very Nice original bike in excellent condition. Runs great. This bike is a time capsule !! The mileage on it is currently 5052. Perfect bike to enjoy , ride , and take to shows. The gas tank and side covers have very nice original paint with a minor scratch on left side (see pics). The seat is in excellent condition, as are all the gauges & plastics. Very nice original chrome throughout on this bike.  As is very common with these 1970's vintage Hondas, the muffler does have 2 small holes at the bottom (this was common on bikes that didn't run enough to burn the moisture from the exhaust before being shutdown ...the moisture combined with thin metal in the muffler would rust right thru in no time).  There are still a few NOS mufflers available on the internet for this bike, so this could be resolved if desired.  This bike even still has its original Owners Manual under the seat in the tray, and original toolkit in the blue bag inside the toolkit holder. This bike runs good and is fun to ride around. Fun, lightweight, easy bike to ride.
