Made in March of the very first production year--this is the motorbike that revolutionized the industry.<br><br>Work completed on this bike, over $3000 in parts alone: <br>• Brakes: Completely rebuilt w/new stainless steel brake lines throughout. New stainless steel caliper pistons made in Europe; won’t rust; better than OEM. Rear master-cylinder rebuilt with new OEM kit. Upgraded front brake master-cylinder to Nissan version from Randakk’s Cycle Parts. <br>• Steering and suspension: New roller-bearing headset, from All-Balls Racing. Upgraded to new swingarm bearings with roller-bearing thrust bushings, imported from Britain. Installed a good condition used drive line from Cycle Psycho plus a spare. New Kymco rear shocks. <br>• Cooling system: New hoses, thermostat, cap. Inspected water pump. It has a metal impeller whereas the OEM was bakelite; everything is in good order. New, nonsilicated coolant. <br>• Electrical system: Mostly original. I went through the entire wiring system and repaired all abrasion, and corrected all “repairs” from the bike’s history prior to my ownership. Installed new starter relay, new voltage regulator, new points plate, new condenser, new modern blade-type main fuse.
