<p>The R 1250 GS uses the same tried and tested boxer engine that’s used by many BMW motorcycles : it’s a 1,254 cc horizontally-opposed flat-twin that produces an impressive 136 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. This engine offers the perfect combination of off- and on-road performance, for everyday commuting or serious adventuring.</p><p>Standard equipment includes BMW Motorrad Integral ABS Pro, 3 riding modes (ECO, Raid, Road), Hill Start Control, Dynamic Traction Control, and cool features such as a connected TFT display, LED headlights, and USB charging. However, adventurers would do well to take advantage of the optional accessories for the R 1250 GS. These include Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment, enduro ergonomics, additional ride modes, heated seats, and milled parts, to name a few.</p>

<p>This Yamaha XT550 is all original <b>unrestored</b> with 703 original miles. The original owner was in the military and bought this bike and a matching XT250 at the same time. He preferred the XT250 so the XT550 was never ridden. Maintenance items have been replaced as it is a 40 plus year old motorcycle. I have replaced the fuel line, battery, air filter, oil and filter since I have owned it. The float needle was also replaced. The carburetors and gas tank are clean with no corrosion/rust. The tires are original also and will need to be replaced if you plan to really ride it. The last time it was registered was in 1988 before I purchased it. I have since registered it in Virginia and when I moved to Michigan it is registered here with antique plates so I can ride it occasionally. When I purchased it there were 564 miles on it and now there are 703. Mileage may increase as I ride this once in awhile to keep it fresh. Only non ethanol gas since I have owned it. Please look at the pictures as the bike is pretty immaculate. The tank is perfect with no dents scratches. The seat and tool bag do not have any cuts/cracks and look new. It starts on the first or second kick and runs perfect! The original tools and owners manual are in perfect condition. I have an original service manual that I purchased as well. <p>Selling my 2013 BMW R1200GS Adventure.</p><p>This bike runs great, and needs nothing. (Cold Start Video added to photos) The tires have a few thousand miles left in them, I would guess. The first owner owned it from new until trading it in on a new GSA in late 2022 and I bought it February 2023. I've only put 2k miles on it so far, but I bought it to get back into riding and now I'm hooked again, I love the GS. I have very thorough maintenance records for its entire life, there are a few pages shown in one of the photos of the details that exist since it was new.</p><p>The bike has factory heated grips, OE AUX Lights and ESA, which is Dynamic Electronic Suspension.</p><p>I have three complete seat sets(front and rear) Stock, Russell Daylong & Sargent. I removed the Jesse Luggage aluminum side cases and their racks, but they’re included if you want them. I can reinstall for you as well. Headlight has upgraded LED bulb and I totally freshened up the Motolights with their LED bulbs upgrade, new lenses, seals, and lens rings. Oil was changed most recently by dealer in February, a few hundred miles ridden since. I had all fluids dealer replaced when I bought it. BMW rear rack bag was new last summer, great bag with waterproof cover. Expands to hold plenty but also isn't a huge box when there's not much in it. Has a few aftermarket accessories, including: Headlight Protector, Motolights LED Riding Lights, rear fender liner extension, splash guards to keep boots dry, windscreen extender and Throttlemeister as well.</p><p></p><p>I’m asking $8500 but I’m motivated to sell to fund the next bike.</p>
