I purchased this bike in Southern California 6 years ago and rode it to Portland OR, where it currently resides.</p><p>I've been riding it on off-road trails here and even trailered it to Baja for a 2 week ride in 2023.The bike runs and rides great, it does weep a bit of oil from the right side case, a gasket replacement will be needed. The bike can be ridden anywhere as-is. Brand new Anakee Wild tires.</p><p>I'll include a spare seat (blue without graphics) that I kept on it to preserve the original, and a larger plastic desert tank from Clarke.</p><p>Selling due to a move, not enough room in the garage for this bike.</p>

That being said, she's ready to be enjoyed without fussing over aesthetics.</p><p></p><p>Upgraded rear sprocket with urethane bushing (less jerky than stock rubber bushings) and optimized rear sprocket AND brand-new top of the line GOLD DID CHAIN. All of these upgrades were recommended by EDR performance. They simply make the bike much more fun to ride and also puts you in the perfect rev range for engine braking into corners/ loss bogging down into low revs. I did a GT ride after this install and it made a world of difference. </p><p></p><p>This gen of Multi is, in my opinion, the most fun on two wheels that you can have while still being able to comfortably tick over 300miles per day.</p><p></p><p>Having sold these and ridden every gen of Multistrada before and since, this is really the sweet spot. Previous years left you wanting for more and generations since are overly computerized and feel disconnected, less responsive and like a computer is getting in the way.</p><p></p><p>Still has traction control, and all the safety measures you could want.</p><p></p><p>Upgradeable to fully-active Öhlins Mechatronics Suspension(Control Unit not included).</p><p></p><p>I had the Mechatronics system installed on another 2010 MTS that I owned and it was like a magic carpet. Definitely worlds beyond the subsequent, “Sky-Hook” system that Ducati released in partnership with Bosch 2013, that was universally regarded as inferior.
