The Royal Enfield Himalayan is an Indian adventure touring, or dual sport motorcycle. The Himalayan made its debut in February 2015 with an early 2016 launch. The model was conceived by CEO Siddhartha Lal as an adventure touring motorcycle. As such, it is vastly different from the other Royal Enfield motorcycles that are currently available. In early production, there were some issues regarding the quality of the parts. As a result, some owners have filed lawsuits to either return the bike for a refund or receive compensation.
