I purchased this bike in Southern California 6 years ago and rode it to Portland OR, where it currently resides.</p><p>I've been riding it on off-road trails here and even trailered it to Baja for a 2 week ride in 2023.The bike runs and rides great, it does weep a bit of oil from the right side case, a gasket replacement will be needed. The bike can be ridden anywhere as-is. Brand new Anakee Wild tires.</p><p>I'll include a spare seat (blue without graphics) that I kept on it to preserve the original, and a larger plastic desert tank from Clarke.</p><p>Selling due to a move, not enough room in the garage for this bike.</p>

<p>Hi, Im selling my 1982 CX500 Turbo with 52,153 miles on it (will have a few extra miles for local rides and testing out the bike). My brother bought it new, and I bought it from him 25 to 30 years ago, making me the second owner. I have the title in hand in my name. Tags expire in August 2024. I havent been able to ride for a while so the bike sat for years without use. Good thing I had the foresight to add a fuel preservative so the tank and the fuel system are good to go. A couple months back, (with the help of brother #3, I rebuilt the rear caliper, and one of the front calipers due to being sticky. I replaced the front brake master cylinder due to being completely frozen. I replaced the engine oil and filter. I cleaned and relubed the sponge air filter. I replaced the battery, added some new gas and let my brother test ride the bike. The bike is running good and the turbo kicks in as it should. Checked the voltage while running and bike is charging well (good stator). All lights work as they should. The seat is in good shape, but was reupholstered years back. The pictures are good representation of how the bike actually looks. Its all original. Never crashed, just dropped on its side when coming to stop and losing balance. While the bike was parked in my garage, I had a bicycle hanging over it. While trying to get the bicycle down, I ended up dropping it on top of the motorcycle, which is why the top of the tank was slightly bent. The helmet hold/lock is broken. I'm all about full disclosure, so here are the known issues with bike if you take off my hands. Tires have good tread, but they are old. One of the valve covers has oil seepage. There also appears to be oil seepage coming from center upper part of engine. Paint is pealing on right handle bar plastic piece, as brake fluid from old brake master cylinder leaked on it (pictured). The final issue, which just happened, is when I reinstalled the cleaned air filter. When tightening the filter retention screw, the screw stripped, and I couldnt remove it. Will have to be drilled out in the future when it is time to clean the filter again.Feel free to reach out and ask any questions. Thanks for looking.</p>
