Suzuki 250 Motorcycles for Sale

The Suzuki 250 is commonly known as the TU250. It launched in Japan in 1994 and later hit US markets in 2009. It is one of their most popular lightweight street bikes available. It is a single-cylinder, air-cooled motorcycle.
When first launched in Japan, the Suzuki 250 was available in 125cc and 249cc. While it was widely known as the TU250, marketing in Asia called it the Volty. At the same time, marketing in Europe called it the TU250X Volty.
The second-generation Suzuki 250 arrived in 2003. It was, and still is, nostalgic, familiar, and perfect for daily rides. In 2009, the bike came to US markets as the TU250X. Production halted for 2010 and in 2014 due to its popularity. The manufacturer needed extra time to adjust to importation demands.
One very interesting detail about the TU250X are the modifications to reduce emissions. The PAIR (pulsed-secondary air-injection) brings fresh air into the airbox. It enters the exhaust port to ignite unburned hydrocarbons to keep emissions low. Despite the system, it does not meet California emissions standards. To date, the bike is a 49-state model.
Other specifications include a five-speed transmission and electric starting. Most models also include a maintenance-free battery and electronic ignition system. The design includes a tubular steel frame that houses a load-bearing engine. Chrome mufflers and chrome wired wheels add to the nostalgic styling.
