Triumph Trophy is a touring bike that was manufactured from 2012-2017. The engine is a straight three, 1215cc, 12-valve, and liquid cooled. It works in conjunction with a six-speed gear box and shaft drive.
This same engine was used in the Tiger Explorer, but the Trophy does not produce as much power. It could be because the sixth gear is taller, necessary for cruising.
The Triumph Trophy has a simple suspension system. WP 43mm upside down forks that have a manually adjustable rebound damping in the front. There are special edition (SE) models that feature the same.
Except with electronically adjustable rebound damping. The SE also features tire-pressuring monitoring system and Bluetooth audio system. Triumph is made in Hinckley, England but not all models are available in North America. Currently, SE models are the only model available. Base models can be found on occasion but usually only overseas.
The Triumph Trophy has anti-lock braking system as a standard feature. The front brakes consist of twin 320mm discs with Nissin four-piston calipers. The rear brakes are single 282mm discs with Nissin four-piston calipers. Seat height is around 30 inches for a low seat or 31 inches for those who want to sit higher. Fuel capacity stands at 6.7 gallons but there is no indication of miles per gallon.
