Ural Motorcycles for Sale

Ural has interesting roots in history. The company started as a Soviet Union government organization. They were manufacturing motorcycles with a sidecar for World War II. These were not the kind of sidecar meant for highways. Russia has harsh climate and rough terrain and their vehicles needed to handle it. In 1941, they began manufacturing the M-72. After the war ended, the Ural factory slowed production of military vehicles. There wasn't a strong need and they began adding models for the commercial market. By the late '50s, the company separated from the government. They stopped making military-grade vehicles. Today, Ural is still going strong at providing quality motorcycles with sidecars. They kept the design for off-roading rather than street riding. They can handle some very interesting areas. Rocky hillsides and heavy snow are where they outperform other vehicles. They also handle crossing a creek, small flooded area, or river with ease. Most vehicles are available in 1WD or 2WD. Fuel tanks average at give gallons. Although designed for off-roading, you can drive them on the street or highway.
