Honda VALKYRIE Motorcycles for Sale in west chester, Virginia

<p>This is a semi-custom GL1500C Honda Valkyrie that has been meticulously maintained since its birth in 1997. I met the previous owner who did most of the custom alterations, and who kept the bike in his carpeted game room. I've owned and maintained it since 2006, and it has been kept in a climate controlled garage.All fluids are changed annually after the riding season including engine oil, rear differential, and radiator. Brake fluid changed and bled with each new set of tires. All chrome is clean, and the manifold exhaust pipes still shine. The tires are newer, see pics of front and rear treads. </p><p></p><p>This bike is extremely clean and runs perfectly. When Im out riding people come up all the time and comment on its beauty. There are a lot of chrome touches. The Nomad saddle bags fit the Valkyrie profile better than any bags Ive seen, and the side openers are much more convenient. The chrome rear roll bars were custom made to fit the bike and bags. And the bags are quick release for easy rear wheel cleaning. </p><p></p><p>Some other features on the bike:</p><p>New lithium ion battery (1/5 the weight)</p><p>LED Headlight</p><p>LED side lights (tied to high beam switch very bright)</p><p>Corbin Seats</p><p>Chrome carburetor stacks</p><p>Chrome center stand</p><p>Adjustable Honda Interstate rear shocks</p><p>Original exhaust replaced with the more attractive Valkyrie Interstate pipes</p><p>Quick release windshield</p><p>Chrome luggage racks</p><p>Chrome footpegs</p><p></p><p>The engine has 66,500 miles on it. Honda estimates the expiration of this boxer F6 engine to be 250,000 miles. The Valkyrie Rider Cruiser Club has members reporting 300k, 400k and 500k miles without issues. My other Valkyrie has 80k miles. Both bike engines run smooth and powerful, both still pass the nickel test.</p><p></p><p>Imperfections: Theres a few. The Corbin seat has a small tear on the right side that I've had covered for years with black gorilla tape so it doesn't get worse (pic). There is a very small nick on one of the left Nomad bags (pic). The back of the removable lumbar rest has some scuffing on it (pic). And, of course, the chrome on the plastic alternator cover is wrinkled due to heat (this should have been metal from OEM). There are a couple other very small dings that arent apparent in the pics.</p><p></p><p>The original seats (still like new) and various other parts will transfer to the new owner.</p>
