The Honda XR series is a range of four-stroke off-road motorcycles, that were originally designed in Japan, and assembled and produced worldwide. The first models were introduced in 1991.
The models in the Honda XR series came in two versions: R and L. The R models were enduro bikes, built for off-road competitive racing. They were fitted with rigid off-road tires and were not always street legal. The L models were dual-sport bikes, perfect for trails. They were fitted with indicators, lights, and tires that were street legal.
A handful of models in the series were designed for younger riders. The XR50R, XR70R, XR75R, XR80R and XR100R all still deliver impressive performance and power, just in a smaller size. The larger, adult bikes vary in power. The engines range from 100cc to 650cc, and are all built to tear up the racetrack.
Every bike in the Honda XR series feature tough tires and suspension, for hard riding on all types of terrain.
They are built to take a beating, which is important when it comes to enduro style racing.
