Yamaha FZ1 Motorcycles for Sale

The first generation of the Yamaha FZ1 were on the markets from 2001 to 2015. In Europe, the model was FZS1000 Fazer. They were a naked bike, standard roadsters for general purpose on the street. From 2001 to 2005, they featured a steel, tubular frame and had a carbureted modified YZF-R1 engine. During this five-year period, the bike didn't change except for color. In 2005, some European countries had a model with catalytic converters.
It was 2006 when the Yamaha FZ1 got a makeover. In Europe, the model was FZ1-S Fazer. The bike got a new chassis, a different engine, bodywork, and suspension. The body style became an aluminum diecast diamond-shaped frame. The 20-valve DOHC engine was tuned for a better midrange torque. There were a few internal changes as well. Such as the revised balance shaft and heavier crankshaft.
The Yamaha FZ1 stayed on the market until 2015. The brand decided to move on to other types of street bikes. From 2006 to 2015, a few changes happened to the engine and body style. From 2006 to 2007, the bike went through a few changes in shocks and fuel injection systems. From 2010 to 2015, throttle modifications took place a few times to get a smoother mid-range.
Yamaha makes excellent bikes and the proof is in the success of the FZ1. Keeping a model in your lineup for 15 years is a testament to how well the bike was received. It is also one of the popular models for people to sell.
