1969 BMW R60US,
This is an excellent barn find that will clean up nicely. This R60US sat for some time and collected dust but was properly stored dry. The fuel tank is exceptionally clean inside with the tank liner still remaining. These liners often break down and tanks will begin to rust over time from moisture when sitting, but this was stored in a dry area. Please note the photos of the fuel tank.
This bike had sat for many years but with fresh fuel and rebuilt carbs, it fired right up and will start 1st or 2nd kit.Â
This is a great opportunity project to build as you see fit - whether it be a runner/rider as is, a mechanical restoration, or full restoration, this is a perfect blank canvas to make it your own.
