I am selling a 2000 Intruder 1500 I am third owner first 2 where family members. Got bike 2 years ago Had full tune up changed all fluids and carburetors cleaned . Installed new Viking saddle bags and a new Saddleman seat and battery .The motorcycle has normal wear and tear for a 2000 still shines great but has some age to it . <p>R1100RS</p><p style="margin-bottom: 1em;">The BMW R1100RS-   The 2000 BMW R 1100 RS addresses riders who expect higher levels of performance from their touring machine. It comes with features such as die-cast aluminium wheels, an adjustable windscreen, a dual seat, a small luggage rack, pillion grab handles, an analogue instrument cluster, dual front disc brakes coupled to a single disc in the rear and a high-end suspension package composed of a BMW Motorrad Telelever unit in the front and a rear Paralever unit.      The Telelever design has a superficially similar appearance to telescopic forks, but braking forces are taken back horizontally, minimising "fork dive". A rear subframe supported the rider, passenger and luggage.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The 1085cc engine makes a claimed 90 horsepower at the crank. This is from its air-cooled, four-stroke, boxer two cylinder powerplant paired to a five-speed manual transmission with a shaft final drive. The engine is named "Oilhead".                                                                                                                                       Yep, there’s no mistaking this bike for anything other than a BMW. As expected, it’s got versatility coming out the exhaust. Thanks to rock-solid handling and plenty of throaty torque, it can pull triple duty as a pick-up-a-gallon-of-milk bike, a corner carver, or even mile gobbler.
