2004 BMW R 1150 R Edition 80, Limited Edition BMW (#0899 of 2003 worldwide) Rockster 80th Anniversary badged model, supposedly only 200 of these made their way to the USA....and it is clean with low miles! The R1150R Rockster was a unique machine in that it was a sub-model of the established R roadster model that was designed by American Dave Robb, primarily by going for a new aggressive style concept merely by selecting the right parts from other models and combining them with a few new elements. The headlamp is borrowed from the older GS, the chassis and forks from the sporty R1100S, as well as the Telelever front & Paralever rear suspension that are common on the R & K bikes. It also has the dual spark ignition and servo boosted brakes. This more 'streetfighter' looking model came standard with a more aggressive handlebar, instrument cluster flyscreen, ABS brakes, heated grips, adjustable levers, a center stand, and the special part of this Edition 80 is the special Alpine White & Sapphire Black paint scheme with the 80 graphic and the special numbered plate on the frame neck. This one is in great shape, only notable blemish being a mark on the carbon fiber finish front fender that was covered with a carbon fiber decal, so not super obvious.
