We gave it our customary professional detailing to assure that it’s as clean as new and that all painted and chrome surfaces gleam with a deeply satisfying luster. Its only blemishes are negligible; just some small scratches on the engine protection bars that suggest the bike may have tipped over once or twice. These are barely noticeable and will not detract from your pride of ownership. <br><br>The guys in our Service Department didn’t have much to do with this bike to prepare it for its next owner. That’s because it was in such fine condition in the first place. Nevertheless, it got a thorough examination and diagnostic work out to be sure all systems were Go. We only needed to install a NEW FRONT Tire to put it in tip-top shape. Of course, engine oil and filter were changed, too, and everything else checked and adjusted as necessary for maximum safety and performance. That, along with the fact that I do not ride often is the reason that the mileage is extremely low for a 2012. <p>For sale is my <b>1993 Harley Davidson FXLR Low Rider Custom</b>. It's in great condition, runs great, looks - well check out the pictures, looks awesome. Well maintained, I have the receipts and service records all neatly organized in a binder. I also have the Owners Manual and Clymer Service Manual as well as a bunch of extras (shown and listed below).</p><p><br></p><p>My last bike was a BMW R1200RS. However, especially on long trips, my knees couldn't handle the backward bent angle that the bike put my legs in so I needed something that would put my knees in a more relaxed position, a foot forward position and that could also handle and ride well as I didn't want to give that up</p><p><br></p><p>Even though my last bike was a BMW R1200RS I've owned a few Harleys in my life and always enjoyed the comfortable ride and I wanted something that handled well and wasn't so loaded down and heavy looking as the past Harleys that I've owned. After much research I decided to look at the Harley FXLR. I ended up purchasing the one in this listing.</p><p><br></p><p>Some have said it is one of the best handling Harleys ever produced - I can't speak to that but I do love how it rides and handles. It has served me well and I can honestly say its been my favorite Harley of the few that I've owned.</p><p><br></p><p>It came with saddlebags that were small and difficult to take on and off (and I like a clean look so I would just put them on for an overnighter). They ended up in such poor condition, mainly from age, that I stopped using them, and instead went with a large sissy bar/rear rack pack (which is included and shown in the pictures) when I was doing an overnighter.</p><p><br></p><p>All of the maintenance I've had done has been professionally done with premium fluids (Red Line or synthetic).
