<p>Classic 80's Honda Cruiser in Beautiful physical condition with only 3,724 original miles! This 1986 Honda Magna VF700 V45 has been garage stored and looks near new, but it is not for everyone. It is NOT running and WILL need engine work. This is a great re-sell opportunity for someone who fixes bikes. Once this is running you should be able to get over double what I'm asking.</p><p>I started the repair process and had almost everything done on it. The carbs completely redone, new battery, new plugs, hoses and fluids but when the compression was low in one of the cylinders, repairs became to rich for my blood. Mechanics ain't cheap.</p><p>Once again, this bike is for someone who works on bikes or knows someone who works on them cheap and wants to re-sell or own a rather rare bike. Magna's haven't been produced in 21 years and this version in 36 years and it looks almost new! This stream silver Gold Wing GL 1800 ABS has always been kept in a garage.It runs perfectly.New Yuasa battery install and oil change was done by Gustin Motorsports in 2022.The Corbin saddle does need a seam stitched, but nothing too bad at all. I havent been able to ride it recently because of a knee injury that requires surgery.At this point, I simply want someone else to be able to enjoy it this summer and into the future.

<p>This is by far the lightest (350 lb wet weight) most balanced (5lb difference between front and rear wheel weight) and most comfortable CX custom build.. Too much to list but I have a spreadsheet with all the custom work including cost and fabrication rating. There are over 50 custom fabricated pieces/parts - this is not an off the shelf build - everything is custom. This is not a show bike - I built it to ride. I've had it 9 years - I'm an old man - it's time.</p><p><br></p><p>I did all the fabrication (MP Cycle Design) - contracted out the welding. All of the add-on parts (foot & hand controls), front forks are from a Honda CBR1000 (2004 - 2007). The muffler is from a Kawasaki Versys and the radiator is from a KTM fabricated to fit the CX. The seat is a Corbin built for Suzuki GSX. The bike is also one of the coolest running CX's. The seat height is 31" which is pretty standard in the bike industry. It has the feeling of sitting "inside" the bike as opposed to "on top of it". Engine has been completely broken down - new rings, timing chain - the works). Customized to look more like an Indian: with white-wall tires, all logos removed, lowered suspension, custom seat, modified exhaust (loud), custom grips. Also, she was completely rehabbed last fall to the tune of $3,400 for a brand new paint on the gas tank and front fender, new tires, and complete engine overhaul. Runs like new again. It breaks my heart to sell her. I've had her for 20 years, and as you can see by the low mileage for her age, only rode her on warm weekends. I'm tempted to keep her forever, but my wife and I are having a baby, and sadly I just can't make sense of ever riding again.Going to miss her dearly, but hoping to find someone who appreciates her good looks, retro-cool, vintage style, and recent upgrades. <p>Selling my Honda 1983XLs. This classic XL looks good and runs well. It starts on the first kick. Has excellent compression—all electrical works. This bike is 100% OEM, less the rear blinkers and the missing helmet lock that I'm still trying to locate. The 6v battery of the day did not produce the brightest or fastest blinking lights on the road. The odometer is working, but the speed dial long arm is broken and does not move. I'm sure it could be fixed; I just have not messed with it. I glazed the rear brake shoes when I was cleaning up the rear hub, so I have ordered new front and rear brake shoes. $21.00 lol. I have replaced the counter sprocket, compression release cable, and 6v battery, and the forks and engine have fresh oil in them. The bike has a single airfilter, but I have the OEM airbox and emissions parts. There are no oil leaks. I don't know much about the bike's history besides the young man I bought it from, who loved it as his first bike. Remember, this bike is 41 years old, and bikes were built and rode a lot differently back in those days.The bike's top speed is around 72 mph with stock gearing. I have the title—no trades or lowball offers. Please remember, this is an older girl, not perfect, but nice. Thanks for your time.</p>

Honda center stand, Honda tank pads and a wind buffer on the tank. I have all the parts that came off the bike and a few extras to go with it. Bought brand new / one owner, always parked in my garage and meticulously kept and maintained. Emissions recall completed last year, no problems with the bike at all. Never dropped or crashed, mostly ridden on local fire roads. Clean title in hand, California registration current through July 2025.
