<p>This wondrous customized XL600R air-cooled single includes $1,500 of brand-new uninstalled parts purchased after acquisition from Pro Italia Motors who had acquired it as part of a very elderly rider's larger Estate Collection.</p><p>Have a pix of this original tank paint wrapped in red protecting the paint from damage. Prior to advertising and selling, Pro Italia told me they had a Honda Tech change the oil, filters, adjust the valves, rebuild and re-jet the carbs, and install a new ignitor, plug & points.</p><p>The bike was delivered to me just washed and exactly as it appears with Custom Exhaust, Racing Seat, Hard-plumbed Oil Cooler, matching EXCEL Nakasago Rims, and one key. I rode it around for eight miles on the 2009 tires. The exhaust sound is deep, soothing and very harmonious. Due to the lighter-than-stock weight of the bike and the OE 45 HP prior to opening the exhaust, and the fresh tune, the bike ran smooth, hardly vibrated at all, the throttle response was clean and quite snappy, and best of all, the bike kick started right up and did not smoke at all. After my one brief ride, I focused on buying/acquiring all the parts I thought necessary to make this XL600R my one keeper to meet her rule of only owning one bike. Not having ridden in forty years, this was my ninth bike purchase in the last four years, clearly learning two-wheelers had really changed.</p><p>Since I had planned on keeping it as my one bike I purchased the new: Stator, Ignition Coil, three Qts of Royal Purple, and two new sets of tires plus not pictured are brand new tubes and rim bands for the front and rear EXCEL Racing Nakasago rims.</p><p>The pictured Michelin Road Classics of 100/90 18 and a 130/80 17 exactly match the original geometry (Front height to Rear height of .1"!) that Honda Engineers had in mind with the stock 3.00/100 21 and the 5.12/100 17.</p><p>The second set of pictured brand new tires are the same model as the 2009 Pirelli's currently on the XL600R. The Front 110/80 18 matches the current size and the Rear is a 140/70 17 rather than the currently-mounted 140/80 17. The 140/70 combined with the 110/80 is still a very close geometry match to the stock OE sizes if you prefer a 110 and 140 or the 10.</p><p>The third set are Dunlops that I had previously purchased from a Honda Dealer as OE replacement rubber for the new 2022 Honda XR600L that I was considering.</p><p>All the aforementioned parts are included and part of the final Sale.</p><p>Lowballers can go crawl back under their rock.</p><p>Great bike!</p>

1975 Honda® XL 125, VERY COOL OOKING VINTAGE BIKE!

<p>Honda XL70 1974 I have had this bike for about a year. It starts,runs and shifts great. A video is available. I'm not an expert but it seems mostly original.I added a new tail light. And it now has a new battery so the lighting does work. Although this bike is not 100% original, its not modified in anyway that cant be made 100% original or you can add your personal changes. Or ride it like it is. Ready to have some fun. It does have a CLEAR ARIZONA TITLE. Starts with first kick and its a nonsmokerand has no rattles. <p>For sale 1974 Honda 250XL K1 Enduro.</p><p></p><p>I’ve owned this bike since 2016.</p><p></p><p>Since purchasing I’ve replaced the ignition system (points, condenser, coil and mechanical advance mechanism). The points recently set, gapped and ignition timed. </p><p> Installed new front fork seals and boots. New aftermarket taillight. New grips, clutch and brake levers, rear view mirror, foot/rear brake lever, front foot pegs, rear foot pegs, throttle cable, rear brake pads, new shifter seal and left side engine cover gasket. It has new tires and tubes. </p><p></p><p>The cam chain has been recently adjusted. The carb recently cleaned and adjusted. Engine oil has been changed. This bike kick starts easily, runs, rides and stops great. The clutch works as it should and the bike shifts properly through the gears. Speedo and tach work. The lights work.</p><p></p><p>Cosmetically… there are a couple of dents in the tank and scratches on the headlight chrome ring. (see photos) The front and rear fenders have been repainted black. No rust on the frame or exhaust and the chrome is in good condition/not pitted.</p><p></p><p>I’m including two good/detailed shop manuals and some extra parts (shown in photo).</p><p></p><p>This classic Enduro/Dual-Sport bike is in good condition (for being 50 years old) and is ready to ride on and/or off road.</p><p></p><p>This Honda 250XL is registered/licensed in Illinois and I have a clear title in my name.</p>

<p>1987 Honda XL600R in good running condition with a clear Oregon title. I purchased this bike in Southern California 6 years ago and rode it to Portland OR, where it currently resides.</p><p>I've been riding it on off-road trails here and even trailered it to Baja for a 2 week ride in 2023.The bike runs and rides great, it does weep a bit of oil from the right side case, a gasket replacement will be needed. The bike can be ridden anywhere as-is. Brand new Anakee Wild tires.</p><p>I'll include a spare seat (blue without graphics) that I kept on it to preserve the original, and a larger plastic desert tank from Clarke.</p><p>Selling due to a move, not enough room in the garage for this bike.</p>

<p>Selling my Honda 1983XLs. This classic XL looks good and runs well. It starts on the first kick. Has excellent compression—all electrical works. This bike is 100% OEM, less the rear blinkers and the missing helmet lock that I'm still trying to locate. The 6v battery of the day did not produce the brightest or fastest blinking lights on the road. The odometer is working, but the speed dial long arm is broken and does not move. I'm sure it could be fixed; I just have not messed with it. I glazed the rear brake shoes when I was cleaning up the rear hub, so I have ordered new front and rear brake shoes. $21.00 lol. I have replaced the counter sprocket, compression release cable, and 6v battery, and the forks and engine have fresh oil in them. The bike has a single airfilter, but I have the OEM airbox and emissions parts. There are no oil leaks. I don't know much about the bike's history besides the young man I bought it from, who loved it as his first bike. Remember, this bike is 41 years old, and bikes were built and rode a lot differently back in those days.The bike's top speed is around 72 mph with stock gearing. I have the title—no trades or lowball offers. Please remember, this is an older girl, not perfect, but nice. Thanks for your time.</p>

Kick start your own antique air-cooled road-going 1987 Honda XL600R!<br /><br />This AD is updated throughout the day - so if you do not see the words Deposit Taken, Sale Pending or SOLD, then my very classic custom 1987 Honda XL600R is available.<br /><br />Original Hubs mounted with Stainless Steel Spokes/Nipples to matched set of EXCEL Takasago Aluminum Racing Rims with DOT Date Code 2009 Pirelli Sport Demon Tires. Pictured separate, and included with the sale, are brand-new, never-mounted Pirelli Sport Demon tires: 110/80 - 18 58V for up Front and a 140/70 - 17 66H in the Rear w/DOT Dates of 2822 and 4022 respectively. These size tires match the difference in OE Outside Diameter Tires to take advantage of the Factory Chassis Settings.<br /><br />The shiny Tank is the Factory Original Paint as the Collector who owned it before me had a Red Plastic wrap to protect the paint. The DEVOL Racing Seat is period-correct and Custom for the bike. The Aftermarket Oil Cooler is hard-plumbed to reduce Oil Temperatures and increase the overall Oil Volume also cooled by the Oil Tank Frame. The heavy, HP-robbing quiet OE Muffler was replaced by a lighter, less restrictive Muffler yielding a soothing deep, yet not loud note for a large Honda Thumper. Also included in the Sale, but not pictured, are three (3) Factory Weight Qts of Royal Purple Max-Cycle SAE 10W-40 Engine Oil to reduce wear, allow cooler running, engine cleaning and specifically-designed for air-cooled engines. The Front Sprocket Cover has been changed out as well as the Bronze Fasteners. The Front Fender and Headlamp Housing are OE. I have no knowledge or history on any internal engine work.<br /><br />When Pro Italia Motors kindly delivered the bike late last Spring, they informed me they had a Honda Tech change all the Fluids, Adjust the Valves, Rebuild and Re-Jet the Carbs and install an Ignitor. I rode the bike about ten miles around the neighborhood then out onto HIghway CA156 braving the 2009 rubber because I really wanted to hear and feel my very new looking bike. I then ordered the new tires and did not get them mounted up.<br /><br />In the interim, I have chosen a 2024 Sherco 500 SM as my one bike in the garage. Hence, this tootin' clean-burning air-cooled antique is available for the next collector/street rider.<br />Over the weekend, I will post add'l closeup photos showing details and confirming there is no rust anywhere.<br /><br />The CA clean/clear Title includes current Feb 2024 Tags/Registration.
