<p>I am selling 2 of my Restored Honda SL 175’s out of my collection. The price is obviously for each bike individually. All are mint and original motor matching examples The Candy Ruby Red bike and the Topaz Orange bike are both 1970 Models. The Topaz one carries a 1971 title because in Vermont, where it was from, it was first sold new in 1971, so they title it as a '71 (see pics of vin tags for each). There are some minor differences between a 70 and a 71, these are definitely both 1970SL's. I have current valid Registrations/Titles for both bikes. These are some of the nicest around, period. I have had them on display only, I start and ride them each monthly for obvious reasons. Both bikes start, run and ride great with no issues. All lights, horns etc. operate as well. ZERO leaks or drips. Each example is ready to enjoy ride and/or display.</p><p><br></p><p>Feel free to call and discuss. NO LOWBALLS PLEASE, This is the price. <p>Selling my Honda 1983XLs. This classic XL looks good and runs well. It starts on the first kick. Has excellent compression—all electrical works. This bike is 100% OEM, less the rear blinkers and the missing helmet lock that I'm still trying to locate. The 6v battery of the day did not produce the brightest or fastest blinking lights on the road. The odometer is working, but the speed dial long arm is broken and does not move. I'm sure it could be fixed; I just have not messed with it. I glazed the rear brake shoes when I was cleaning up the rear hub, so I have ordered new front and rear brake shoes. $21.00 lol. I have replaced the counter sprocket, compression release cable, and 6v battery, and the forks and engine have fresh oil in them. The bike has a single airfilter, but I have the OEM airbox and emissions parts. There are no oil leaks. I don't know much about the bike's history besides the young man I bought it from, who loved it as his first bike. Remember, this bike is 41 years old, and bikes were built and rode a lot differently back in those days.The bike's top speed is around 72 mph with stock gearing. I have the title—no trades or lowball offers. Please remember, this is an older girl, not perfect, but nice. Thanks for your time.</p>

The first question was, “What the heck is a grom?” Since 1959, American Honda has been based in Southern California, a place known for its tasty waves. When the time came to name a 125cc minibike, it chose the slang term for a talented young surfer.</p><p>The next question was, “Who’s gonna buy it?” Everyone, as it turned out. Priced at $2,999, the low buy-in and appeal of a modern, playful minibike proved irresistible. Dealers ordered them by the dozen, and when they couldn’t get as many as they needed, they took deposits and put people on waiting lists. Some early buyers flipped Groms for a profit.</p><p> </p><p>Almost overnight, Grom subcultures popped up like mushrooms after a rainstorm. Shops like Steady Garage in California and MNNTHBX (man in the box, get it?) in Tennessee started customizing Groms, and aftermarket companies began offering special parts like shocks, exhaust pipes, and big-bore kits. Grom enthusiasts started racing them, and friends and clubs got together for group rides.</p><p>There’s a house in my neighborhood that was occupied by four bikers who rode tricked-out Dynas and dressed like <i>Sons of Anarchy</i> cast members. At random times I’d see their garage door open, and out they’d come in black vests and half helmets on four identical Groms, their normally serious “cruiser face” replaced with boyish smiles.</p><p> </p><p>The Grom has been Honda’s top-selling streetbike in the U.S. since it was introduced.
