Selling my ‘09 RK. (As is)
I bought this bike in 2020 with 28k miles from a 75-year-old gentleman from PA. Since then, this bike has been on a few cross-country trips (including this May).
I have used this bike for weekend trips and long journeys. It has never been used as a commuter or city bike.

The bike has new tires and wheel bearings (installed in April 2024). The battery is 2 years old. The brake pads are good for another year of riding. Bike has ThunderMax tuner. I have been changing the oil frequently and performing all necessary maintenance. I can provide my maintenance book.

Cosmetic condition:
1. There are some minor scratches, chips, and other imperfections. A good polish will take care of most of them.

2. There are tiny, rusty spots on some chrome parts; again, a good polish will remove about half of these spots.

Mechanical condition:

1. There is a noise that appears when riding the bike, but is not present when idling. It is a whiny-knocking-chirping sound consistent with throttle use. I have been unable to locate the issue and have ridden with it for the past year and a half. I’ve taken it to the Dragon Tail and Texas with no issues, but the sound is annoying.

2. There is a small oil leak near the starter from a gasket or seal. I have not been able to pinpoint the exact source of the leak. 

Before you call or message me, make sure to review all the pictures and read the description thoroughly. The bike is in average condition, and the selling price reflects this. I am in no rush to sell and will not respond to low-ball offers.

Mileage may increase slightly as I ride it to the beach occasionally.

I am selling this 2009 Road King as is.
