2018 Husqvarna® Vitpilen 701, If Vitpilen means "white arrow" in Swedish, why is this silver version not a Silverpilen? Good question. Part 1 of the answer is Husqvarna did in fact have a Silverpilen model as far back as 1960--and it was red. Part 2 is the designers probably just wanted to mix things up a bit. The Vitpilen is the cafe racer version of the Svartpilen ("black arrow") scrambler, thus it features lower clip-on handlebars and street-biased tires. This 2018 701 version has just 8K miles on it, and has been thoughtfully upgraded with a smoked windscreen and handguards to increase its highway worthiness.

• ENGINE

The VITPILEN 701 is powered by a modern 692.7 cc liquid cooled, single-cylinder engine that features the latest design and electronics technology.
