Take a close look at the photos here and you’ll get an idea what a stunning impression this bike makes with its luscious deep blue Galaxy Dust Metallic paint, handsomely accented with white pinstripes and metallic silver on the sides of the tank, and just the right amount of gleaming chrome to set it off. But — full disclosure — we can’t tell you this bike is flawless. No matter how great it looks in the photos, or even in person from three feet away, we know that you are as finicky about cosmetics as we are and will appreciate knowing where to look for its little blemishes when you come in to do a personal inspection. There were one or two tip-over mishaps that left some tangible memories which you can see (if you look very closely) on the right-side: a scratch on the handbrake lever, small scrapes on the exhaust pipe, and on the bottom edges of the floorboard and saddlebag. Miscellaneous small scratches can also be found on the heat shields behind the cylinders, on the left cylinder head, at the back of the front fender, and on the bottom of the left fork leg.
