The lighter, more-compact Air Drive motor almost goes unnoticed. That is until the trails start to rise. Standing to attention, each crank of the pedals pushes you forward with added benefit. Effort is still exerted, sweat expelled, but the satisfaction of conquering the climb is justified. A set of 150mm RockShox Lyrik Ultimate forks paired with RockShox Deluxe Ultimate rear shock deliver the goods on the roughest and most demanding trails. Formula Crua brakes provide the stopping power, with a 12-speed SRAM X01 drivetrain creating crisp, clean and predictable shifting. Yamaha’s mid-mount Air Drive motor offers the latest in lightweight eMTB technology.
