• RIDE SMOOTHLY: Optimized suspension settings, a long swingarm and an integrated rear frame contribute to confident handling, whether on a single track, backroad or interstate highway. The KLR®650 S features a seat height of 32.1-inches vs. 34.3-inches on the KLR®650. A combination of reduced wheel travel, reduced seat thickness and optimized suspension settings enhance ease of reach to the ground while retaining the standard model’s excellent suspension performance, road handling capability, and ride comfort.
• FULL STOP: Powerful front and rear disc brakes deliver strong and consistent braking performance throughout your entire ride.

Optimized frame strength and rigidity, under-the-seat rubber dampers, rubber mounted handlebars and footpegs all contribute to maximum comfort and carrying capacity for long-distance touring.

The optimized handlebar and footpeg positions with rubber mounts provide a relaxed riding position with low engine vibration for maximum comfort.
