The in-line, four-cylinder MV Agusta engine, one of a kind anywhere in the world thanks to the radial valve arrangement, finds a new version thanks in part to the countershaft that reduces high-frequency secondary vibrations, all to the benefit of reliability and comfort. Friction has been reduced thanks to new gears. The transmission has been strengthened and made even more accurate and efficient.

The state-of-the-art equipment of this model is rounded off by Continental ABS with cornering, vital for ensuring anti-locking even on the turns. The braking system confirms its number-one status in terms of power and ease of handling. It can count on 320 mm diameter discs, Brembo Stylema callipers and a radial master cylinder at the handlebar control.
