Throttle Body Injection (TBI) makes the EC 300 an absolute dream to ride! Why? Let us fill you in... While you're riding, the ECU continuously analyzes the air and water temperature, crankcase pressure, RPM, and the position of the throttle. What this means is that the perfect mix of air and fuel is delivered into the motor at all times, so it runs clean and offers maximum power when you get on the gas. All GASGAS EC 2-stroke models feature the most advanced Engine Management System (EMS) of any 2-stroke enduro bike out there, which means riders can fully focus on the trails ahead. The brain of the system is the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which engages a different map for each gear to give the very best performance as well as a Rollover Sensor which stops the motor in the event of a heavy fall. Put simply, by controlling the ignition timing and the amount of fuel injected, using sensor data such as intake air pressure, throttle position, and coolant temperature, the EMS takes care of everything related to fuel, air, and oil.
